amazing experience staying here at Prince Waikiki. Excellent service and building is new and equipment works great. AC is quiet and changes to desirable temperature pretty fast. Ocean front view is amazing, get to watch firework show on Friday in your room if you stay on the side of the room that has the view of the sail boat. 5th floor has hot tub and two outdoor pool and one is infinite pool. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

Lack of communication from the staff. At check-in, arrived late and almost no explanation given to us regarding the hotel and any inclusions. Due to our late flight, we arrived to the hotel at 11pm. We asked regarding in room dining, and we were told that the kitchen closes at 9:30pm, without been given any alternative. Although we booked a full week, we were assigned to a room just infront of the elevators. The noise was terrible. We asked to be moved on the second day, and as the hotel was expected to be full over the weekend (5 days later), the room move could not be accomodated. Imagine living a week with constant noise from the elevators. On the third day we got a rental car, and when we wanted to self park the car for the night (not using valet, as valet is considered an unauthorized driver per the rental agreement), the valet at the door, just told us that we need to park at the street next to the entrance and pay at the meter. He never mentioned that the hotel offers self parking underground, and he did not mention that there are some restricted areas at the street. Our car was towed overnight. I have checked after the fact, and it seems like it is a common issue with tourist parking at the area that the hotel staff recommend, and several people mentioned that they were towed from the same place. I would have expected from the staff to warn the guests regarding this ongoing issue (again lack of communication). I will recommend staying somewhere else.
