Liked: Staff & service
Disliked: Cleanliness
all the staff i interacted with were pleasant and helpful and i cant fault them. the original room had a badly cracked basin which was a health hazard and dangerous (i am in the industry so know this) i was relocated to a new room which was smaller.
there was no clear direction regarding the dinning room area and cafe which i never found.
in the shower were long black hairs on the shower wall which were not mine and there was no toilet brush which i would have liked to see.
the other item missing was no USB connection which surprised me in this day and age even more so for a budget hotel where there would be a lot of guests reliant on connect ability. I am aware this was budget accommodation and accepted the issues however there is no reason for lack of cleanliness.
The location of the property was great. Easy to get to. Easy to get to places from there. The room was perfect for one person. It was clean and warm. The bed was comfortable. The shower was a decent size. The water pressure was great. The television was a decent size and the wifi was free and the speed was great

The hotel is well positioned for access to the CBD and everything that the city has to offer. If you are after a place to stay that is convenient then this place is good, however there are also heaps of other accommodation options in the area.
The rooms are very small but if you just need a place to sleep then they suffice. Our room was on the Collins St side which I presume is susceptible to a wind tunnel effect. We felt like we were sleeping on Bondi Beach with waves crashing 24/7, such was the wind noise. We queried this at reception upon checkout and they claimed to be unaware of any noise...Hmmm!
Also it may advertise as a queen room, but it was a double bed. If you are taller than 6ft, you may have a sleeping problem.
The hotel is centrally located. The room is small and bathroom is semi open so privacy not ideal. While the room seemed clean there was an unpleasant odour in the room.
