Great location and charm. The wifi didn’t work and when we asked for a modem it never came. The bath had multiple large chip and the desk chair fabric was stained. This was not the quality I would expect in a 5 star hotel.

The Windsor is a faded grand old lady but quiet and comfortable. Very convenient to the theatre district and the Treasury Gardens opposite make for a lovely interlude on a sunny day.

We were greeted by a cockroach in the hotel room upon arrival. The staff kindly moved us, however we then walked past the original room & witnessed the staff joking about the cockroach whilst the room door was open. The new room also had issues with the toilet, which continued to flush constantly throughout the night (this was next to the bed). There was a dusty and damp feel to the hotel room, which was extremely dark even during the day. The staff were kind and approachable

The Windsor is a beautiful heritage hotel with service and facilities to match. We received an unasked for room upgrade and, when we mentioned we were celebrating a wedding anniversary, a complimentary bottle of champagne. This all made for a delightful overnight bed and breakfast stay. Thank you.
