Colwyn Bay’s glorious sandy beaches lie just 7 miles away whilst Llandudno’s Victorian Pier, family attractions, cable cars to the Great Orme, dry ski slope and fine selection of shops are under 10 miles. Golf, great walking, riding, fishing and bird watching are all enjoyed locally and adventurous spirits will head to Betws-y-Coed where Snowdonia’s exciting array of outdoor pursuits, including climbing and a high ropes course, are all easily accessible – the nearby Swallow Falls are one of the most beautiful spots in Wales. History enthusiasts will be drawn to Conwy town, a World Heritage Site encircled by medieval walls and home to Britain’s smallest house as well as a massive castle, whilst keen gardeners will be sure to visit spectacular Bodnant Garden (National Trust). The historic city of Chester, for superb shopping, a fascinating zoo, galleries, museums and horse racing, is a drive of about 40 minutes and magnificent Caernarfon Castle is also within easy reach as are the many delights of the Isle of Anglesey, including the wonderful Sea Zoo and puffin and seal watching cruises. A village shop and pub serving food are found in Betws-Yn-Rhos, 1 mile, and more extensive shopping is available in Colwyn Bay, 7 miles.
The Coach House can be booked together with Stable Barn (HW7591), Smith Barn (HW7592) and Little Barn (HW7615) to accommodate up to 18 guests.
