The room layout and furniture overall were pretty good. But, the cleanliness was poor. The utensils in the drawer were dirty and grease covered, the carpet hadn't been vacuumed well and the kitchenette area floor had not been mopped. The sliding 'barn doors' for the bathroom were a bit odd and didn't provide much privacy - particularly without a bathroom fan.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we needed to change our reservation from a king bed to two beds. We were told that since we booked it through Expedia, they would not be able to accommodate this change. I did pay extra for cancellation insurance, but it expired the day before. I typically don't change my reservation, and was willing to pay any difference. Just something to think about when you are booking your hotel stay. Money lost!

The room was comfy but too close to an apartment complex, dog poo lying all over in the nearby parking area. The dishwasher didn't work in the room. The hair shampoo/conditioner in the showers not filled. Breakfast was mediocre but the staff was very accommodating, despite the hotel's offerings. For being less than a year old, the upkeep seems to be lacking.

Room was great and very clean. Large refrigerator, dishwasher, real plates and cups, silverware, and even a toaster in our room outside the normal coffee maker and microwave. Staff was very friendly and pleasant to speak with. Getting access to the room and amenities was very easy. Overall care of the property was excellent. We typically stay at Hampton Inn but going forward our new preference is Hilton2 Suites.
