The best metro beach in Australia is Glenelg. I have lived in Coogee, been a life saver in Manly and Dee Why, I have been up and down the east coast and the west coast. Sure there are beaches that are more remote, but the activity in Glenelg is just right. Always something to do, but not so crowded it becomes a hassle. This place is very new, has good facilities and is right at the crux of the excitement. A stone throw from the white sands and calm waters of Glenelg beach. This is not a surfing beach (Kangaroo Island blocks the swell), but one where you can float and relax.

We had a studio apartment. Excellent. Modern and stylish. Great location to enjoy Glenelg. Easy walk to tram if need to go into Adelaide city. Nice beach at Glenelg

While there is parking available at the property we were not given that option. Instead we had to park in a distant empty block with no security. Added to this was a parking charge of $25 a day. We were not made aware of this when booking. Subsequently we would not stay there again.

This property was fantastic! Great clean modern rooms in good location but very close to shopping, restaurants and all within walking distance including the beach. Trams close by too so all at your closest reach. Loved these rooms cant wait to stay again.

Wonderful staff so helpful and professional and kind . Clean modern rooms with quality cookware and well thought out small spaces . Safe snd secure comfortable bed and smoke storage . Best washer dryer combo ever and Nespresso machine was great but even greater was the thoughtfulness to leave guests some additional towels and tea coffee supplies at reception during overnight hours when staff are not on duty . From the cleanliness to the quality , the kindness and the consistent consideration ….this is a wonderful stay for those guests staying here across all types of itinerary and socioeconomic diversity

It was a small studio apartment but suitable for one night with two family members. The beds only had a couple of pillows and no extras. No blankets either. The bathroom supplies had run down and there was no conditioner, but the reception had supplies if you needed it. The washer/dryer was new, but very complex and hard to use. Great location for walking to the beach, ferris wheel, cafes, restaurants, shopping, boutiques. Parking is limited on the street and costs $25 a day if you need to pay.

Great little apartment - good to have small kitchen to make breakfast and snacks. Large bathroom and handy washer/dryer. Wifi was excellent and location was very good. No view, but a 2 minute walk from the beach and super quiet. Just ask for clarification on house-keeping services when you check in.

Unfortunately, we only stayed one night at the Durham Serviced Apartments and didn’t have much time to make the most of the local area. However, the accommodation was fantastic - clean, quiet, and very friendly staff. We will definitely book again next time we’re staying in the city.

I was very disappointed by the lack of natural light and airflow you can get through the room. Tiny window in the bedroom and only the single door onto the balcony in the living space.
