We arrived late and tired. We were quizzed at the entrance about who we were. We had to pay a surprise $400 bond that we had knowledge of and was immediately withdrawn from our bank account and is still not refunded into our account. We never had this happen at any other accommodation. Rubbish wrappers in the room under furniture. In the wine capital of Australia in accommodation marketed as one of the best.....no wine in the mini bar? We visited a few bars near by including hains and co, but rules list for the Hennessy bar made it sound like a place not relax. There are better options in Adelaide.. give the mayfair a miss.

We stayed at the hotel for a week. Me, my 6-year-old daughter and my 18-year-old daughter. Our experience was great! The staff were wonderful and the food was delicious. We loved our breakfast, the banana bread was delicious, and not to mention the service, the kindness and patience of the waiters. It will definitely be my favorite place to stay next time.😊

Paid $400 for a tiny basic room. Food was average at best and the rooftop bar gets way too busy and too many private functions to enjoy. Good cocktails though. I stay in Adelaide CBD often and definitely won't be using Mayfair hotel again.

Hotel is in a great location However for a 5 star Hotel we were disappointed. Check in & out staff were unfriendly & we were basically ignored, no friendly greeting, nothing! Concierge was the only pleasany staff member! Room was lovely and Large but the noise from the street through the night was bad. Won’t return! Better options in the area

We really enjoyed our stay at the Mayfair Hotel. Easy check in and checkout. Nice roof top bar and Restaurants below. The room was of a good size , plenty of space and comfortable. The location is great , as its walking distance to everything in the city.
