A short walk from the pristine aqua waters and golden sands of Port Willunga Beach, this bright, welcoming three-bedroom holiday home has everything you need for a memorable family getaway.

In the warmer months there is plenty to keep the whole family entertained, with the still waters of Port Willunga the perfect venue for swimming and snorkelling, and paddle boards and kayaks available for hire at the beach.

Those looking for a winter getaway will not be disappointed with a custom-built fire pit (and a chiminea) perfect for the kids to roast marshmallows while the adults enjoy a glass of red wine sourced from the nearby vineyards at McLaren Vale.

If youre feeling active the property has a number of bicycles available for use and there is great fishing straight off the beach or at one of the nearby jetties.

Theres a sparkling, modern kitchen with all the equipment required to whip up quick and easy holiday meals (help yourself to the fresh fruit from our peach and apricot trees!), or simply fire up the barbecue and dine alfresco to take in the seaside air.

(bedroom systems were added to the property in May 2019. If you need a break from all the outdoor activities there is unlimited Wi-Fi and a large selection of books, games and puzzles.

Port Willunga and the surrounding area has plenty of activities to and exploring the myriad sea and vines attractions of the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula and nearby McLaren Vale.

Kids can amuse themselves in the large, secure yard but its hard to resist the lure of the beach, especially when there are a couple of boogie boards provided. At low tide, you can often see some of the wreck of the sailing ship The Star of Greece, and it is well worth checking out the popular namesake restaurant on The Esplanade.

I think the lights in the property need to be checked, didnt have 2nd light over long dining table and only one near lounge area. Bedside light in spare bedroom faulty (broken piece and flickering). No book with details of how to get Foxtel working on tv. Had to call family member to help us out.

Great location
The property fit our family of 5 and 2 dogs very comfortably. The location was fantastic as it was a short walk to the beach and cafe. The park across the street was handy for the kids. The only downside was that it was very dirty when we arrived. I was actually quite shocked with the lack of care and cleanliness especially during the current Covid-19 crisis. My advice would be to maintain the grounds and inspect the property prior to check-in. I was advised that they do but I can assure you it was not.
