Overall the stay was adequate. I found the hotel to be a little rundown and impractical in some ways. The shower door only covered half the area which resulted in the bathroom being covered in water. The lighting was odd and often the switches didn’t turn the lights on or off the first time around. Reception staff were very friendly though on entry and exit.

Could have stayed somewhere else but chose to stay at Soho for the spa and the heated pool. I feel a bit ripped off because the pool was not in use and the spa only had half the jets working.

The Hotel was well-located in the CBD near restaurants and at a very reasonable price compared to others in the area. The room was generally OK and the bed comfortable but the bathroom could have used a deep clean. The lack of parking was annoying.

Unfortunate circumstance that was out of the hotels control. Rooms seem loud and creeky. Green light flashing above the bed all night. Nice and clean though. Good location and services around it. Just unfortunate early wake up call by other guests.

Did the pre check in and asvised arrival of 2.00pm but room not ready untill 3.00pm. With no staff on site during the night and this was bad luck, but a couple next to us had a domestic and fir 1.5hrs in the middle of the night, slammed doors, fire escape, balcony door, and there is no noise protection for these sounds.

I was notified that there would be no receptionist when i checked in and had to check in online. However i was notified of this when i landed past their buisness hours. The email i was sent to conduct the online check in did not work. However, when i called the number i was connected to a live representive who was very kind and able to assist me in a timely manner. Not a complaint directly of the hotel however worth noting that most directions to the hotel lead to an alley next to the hotel wich lead to some difficulty finding the hotel. Once i was able to check in the hotel was of a modern design however suffered from some poor detailing work. Consistently through out the hotel and room there was poor grouting in the tiles, poor trim work, and rushed paint jobs on par with a 2 or 3 star hotel. For the price point and how the hotel is advertised this lead to a disappointing and underwhelmimg stay.
