The team was absolutely wonderful! Very kind, patient and professional. The resort was cleaned daily, the restaurant on site had live entertainment and good quality food. The front desk team, all of them, were available and always made us feel welcomed! The room we had was 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Clean. It came with a full kitchen including washer and dryer. The balcony wrapped around for the sitting area to the second bedroom. Having the fridge and freezer available, we went to grocery store and bought food. The pools were great! Indoor and outdoor! Wonderful resort, will come back here if ever we come back to Portugal.

Perfect location for proximity to Lisbon while still living in a quiet beach side oasis. Our group of 5 adults rented a 3 bedroom suite with kitchen and large balcony! The sunset view was amazing. Our only issue the entire stay was difficulty locating a hair dryer which the staff finally provided on our 3rd day. Recommend a rental car to get to all the region’s attractions. We would definitely stay here again!

A party of us recently stayed and occupied 6 rooms in the resort. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the beautiful resort, the facilities were fabulous and Helena was an incredible member of staff who couldn’t do enough for us. However there are a few disappointing issues we need to highlight to you. Room H1D was in a very dark corner with no sunlight at all, we were unable to use the balcony because it never had any sunlight and was not very warm, it had a horrible smell and the A/C did not work even after we reported it and maintenance attended to try and fix it! Room B0F with the baby staying in had 3 days of putting up scaffolding, painting and maintenance which prevented the baby from having his sleeps throughout the day. Also parents were unable to use the balcony to sit and enjoy the weather and unable to relax, they felt it was an intrusion of their privacy! These issues did somewhat spoil our stay with you and therefore we would ask that either a partial refund be given or a free stay to compensate for the disappointment. Kind regards Emma Tate

Well kept. Good location. Attractive grounds. Lovely outdoor pool ( unheated). Staff very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast, mainly continental. Not impressed with gym strange wooden treadmills, also extremely hot despite A/C. Didn’t particularly enjoy evening meal, though only went once. More relaxing chairs for balcony would’ve been nice. No kettle though had to request. Only one supply of tea/coffee per person per stay very mean, also some milk would’ve been appreciated.

Praia do Sal Lisbon Resort is located outside Lisbon in Alcochete. A rental car is the best way to get there which is fairly priced.Taxi fair there was expensive. Ask Taxi driver for a rate before setting off. I paid 70 euros! which is more than the retal I got at the airport later, price per day. There is a bus that passes by the hotel at least ten times a day that cost several or more euros to down town Lisbon. You will need a prepaid bus card that you can get at the airport (maybe you need to get it at the bus station, not sure.) which you use to tap on. I tried paying the driver with cash or a credit card. But he wouldn't accept them. Bus is ok but you will feel slightly trapped in one location. If you intend to spend a lot of time in Lisbon then learning how to pay and use the public tranportation may be better but for a short stay and particularly at this locaton, car retal may be your best option. There is a toll when you are about to cross the Vasco Da Gama bridge to Lisbon. But its only a few euros. About the hotel itself. Its really quite good. Built of low unimposing third floor structures, with two or three floors going undergroung for an indoor heated pool and spa for one included amenity, its spacious. The breakfast baffet is high end and cost about thirteen euros. Or you can add this on to your resevation and save a bit. If you want to eat dinner at the hotel, book a head of time. It gets packed at night. All in all its a relaxing hotel with friendly staff.
