Overall, our stay was very good until the balcony door came off its top hinge and starting falling on my partner. The door was huge, heavy and starting to fall quickly on to the balcony. Luckily my partner managed to stop it going over the side and it did not shatter the balcony glass, falling into the pool area below. At first we were moved rooms and offered only a free buffet lunch and dinner. I explained this wasn’t good enough and they agreed to a full refund of our stay. Once we were home, they did not refund us our full stay, only 5 nights out of 2. This was hugely disappointing to us. Especially considering the trauma and shock of nearly seeing my partner seriously injured or worse if the door had fallen from 5 stories.

Booked this hotel and had some issues woth my card retaining the reservation. However the hotel staff were so responsive and supported me to address the issue (particularly Barbara on reception). I would recommend this hotel on all levels. As a family of 4 in a quadruple room it was perfect!

The decor is fabulous- all very new and with a common modern theme throughout the hotel. Rooms are lovely- the fact that the sink area and shower are essentially in the main room may not suit friends travelling together but was fine for a couple. There is no full length hanging space which I found frustrating. The area is quiet - which is what we wanted- but beach and local restaurants easily walkable and trams and buses are close by. It always felt as though there was minimal staff around - however it was slightly out of season and they were polite & helpful. Overall a lovely hotel for a quiet couples get away with good access to Alicante etc

We went in early October. Its an easy tram and bus journey into Alicante. The pools are fresh but lovely. The rooftop barvis fab and the brekfast suits all appetites. Would definitely go again.

Dishonest hotel chain. Stay away
Dodgy hotel with misleading and obscure selling/marketing practices. We were there years ago when it was the Holiday Inn and saw it had been refurbished so decided to give it a go. Little we knewthey have an old wing that is still like the old hotel and they actively hide from every PR shot. This area is not up to even 3* standard, and they will put you in there if you book through a third party. Apparently is down to customers to know without warning that all rooms without balcony belong in the old wing. Aircon and TV don’t work (absolutely ruined the experience being in July in Spain and unable to relax in the room to watch the Olympic Games). They actively lied about the faults and estimated time to resolve. Poor WiFi reception, dark, smelly damp corridors. Shower floods the entire bathroom. Disgustingly dirty rooftop pool with lots of “floating particles”. A complaint for a refund has been logged with the Spanish authorities after spending hours trying to reason with the front desk. Hotel director doesn’t even have the authority to make decisions on how the property is ran. All at 210+ euro/night for the pleasure. Take your hard earned money elsewhere, you have been warned

Super hotel outside Alicante (but near the tram).
Check in was delayed despite being told our room should be ready by around 3.30, we didn't get to our room till well after 5pm. The reception did ring me to confirm our rooms were ready which was nice. The bed was rather uncomfortable being quite hard and there could be better shelving/drawer space. There is no hanging for dresses. (Well there is but it's very short so don't expect to hang your dress without folding it). A suggestion for outside towel racks on the balcony as everyone hangs their towels over the balcony railing which doesn't look nice. The upstairs pool should be Adults only/no under 16's/18's. The pool downstairs is sufficient for children and with the bar and 'chill out' atmosphere upstairs on the roof, it was spoilt by having shouting children in the pool. The service in BOGO in the evening was very slow. I think management needs to do some undercover reviews and further training for staff upstairs in the evening. Despite that, the staff were friendly and we enjoyed the atmosphere upstairs very much. All staff we came across were friendly and willing to please.
