Vale do Guizo Casa Sul, comfortable home in the countryside, close to the sea

The holiday home Casa Sul consists of an open living room with kitchen, one bedroom and a bathroom. The house is attached to our other property, Casa Poente and surrounded by gardens. In front of the door there is a beautiful south-facing terrace. In the colder months, a wood-burning stove and electric radiators provide cosy warmth.

The location:
Our property is located on a hill overlooking the valley and is surrounded by cork oaks and pine forests. You can take beautiful walks in nature directly from the house. The first beaches and the wonderful nature reserve of the west coast are only 5 - 10 minutes away by car and can also be reached by bike. The two places Aljezur or Rogil are 5-10 minutes away by car and offer all necessary shopping facilities from the fish market to the supermarket as well as restaurants, banks and basic medical care. On the property we keep 2 cats and chickens, which are always an attraction especially for children.

We, Heike and Klaus Mader, have been living in Portugal since 1993 and will be happy to tell you which are the best beaches and the most beautiful excursion destinations.

A beautiful space with magical surroundings
We spent a week in Casa Sul and it was just we needed after another long winter of lockdowns and masks and covid. The house is fully equipped with everything you need and if you need anything else, Heike will definitely take care of it. The beds are comfortable, the space outside is just wonderful for lounging and meals and the kids absolutely loved feeding the donkey Paco and the several chickens. All in all, it was a perfect summer break in the perfect surroundings!

Lovely quiet rural holiday house 5km from Aljezur and 15 mins from the coast.
Well equipped and clean house in a beautiful valley near Aljezur. Heike was very friendly and helpful and available if we needed anything. Great location near inland and coastal walks and stunning beaches. 15mins from Arrifana and many other surfing beaches within 30mins.

Very clean, comfortable property in beautiful, peaceful surroundings. The owner was very welcoming.
We had a lovely holiday exploring the surrounding coast and countryside, but it was lovely to come back to this peaceful, relaxing place. There was everything we could need in the cottage, apart from a microwave. The WiFi was a bit erratic which was a pity as it was advertised as having WiFi!

We hebben genoten van ons verblijf in Casa Sul. Netjes en verzorgd en gastvrije host. Alles in de buurt van prachtige stranden en mooie natuur. Goed wandelgebied! Vooral de rust rondom de casa was heel fijn.

Ruhe pur und tolle Umgebung
Wir (Familie mit Kleinkind) hatten eine sehr erholsame Urlaubswoche im Casa Sul. Das Haus ist prima ausgetattet und die Lage ideal zu den StrƤnden in Odeceixe und Umgebung. Auch an die Algarve (Lagos) sind es nur rund 30 Minuten Autofahrt. Heike ist eine sehr angenehme, aufmerksame Gastgeberin.

Einladend!!!
Einfach rundum perfekt. Das Haus ist sehr freundlich eingerichtet und sauber. Auf der Terrasse und im Garten ist es sehr angenehm zu sitzen. Morgens wurden wir durch schƶnes Vogelgezwitscher geweckt. Die Gastfreundschaft der Gastgeber war enorm. Wir wurden mit eigenen Trauben und Tomaten verwƶhnt.

Ein kleine Oase in der westlichen Algarve
Ein kleines grĆ¼nes Paradies, dass die Gastgeber sich hier aufgebaut haben. Wir haben zwei phantastische Wochen in der Casa Sul verbracht. Hier wird Gastfreundschaft gelebt und man fĆ¼hlt sich sofort wohl. Ein toller Ort um einfach mal auf der Terasse in der Sonne die Seele baumeln zu lassen oder den ein oder anderen Ausflug zu starten. Die StrƤnde sind mit einem Auto gut und schnell erreichbar und der nahgelegene Ort bietet alles was man fĆ¼r den tƤglichen Bedarf braucht. Mit dem Bauernmarkt und dem vegetarischen Restaurant sogar noch viel mehr :) Casa-Sul ist gut ausgestattet und es hat uns nichts gefehlt. Danke fĆ¼r die schƶne Zeit.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in der Casa Sul. Heike und Klaus sind mehr als hilfsbereit. Unser Sohn hat sich ebenfalls sehr wohl gefĆ¼hlt und war natĆ¼rlich besonders von den Katzen, Esel Paco, und den HĆ¼hnern begeistert. Maders legen viel Wert auf Nachhaltigkeit, was auch genau unsere Einstellung entspricht und unseren Aufenthalt in jedem Fall bereichert hat. Die Terrasse ist perfekt und auch im Haus gibt es alles was man braucht.

In diese romantische Ferienunterkunft mitten in der Natur, mƶchte man bleiben wollen und die Welt vergessen. Cottage posizionato in zona verde e tranquilla. Ideale per chi e' alla ricerca di una vacanza in mezzo alla natura ma in una struttura pulita e accogliente. Casa spaziosa, Splendida veranda con giardino, comodo parcheggio. Locali pulitissimi e manutenuti con cura. A soli 5km da Aljezur che offre ogni servizio ( supermercato, farmacia, ristoranti, etc). Proprietaria Mr Heike cortese e discreta. Per me e la mia compagna un soggiorno indimenticabile. Consigliatissimo.

Die HƤuser liegen gute 5 Fahrminuten vom nƤchsten grĆ¶ĆŸeren Ort Aljezur entfernt, dessen Ƥlterer Teil sehr beschaulich ist. Weitere 10-15 min zu den schƶnen StrƤnden. Je nachdem, welches Haus man wƤhlt, hat man einen Blick in die Weite der Umgebung oder man ist auf der Terasse umrahmt vom Ć¼ppigen Garten. Die Ruhe ist so erholsam. Von hier aus lassen sich auch SpaziergƤnge ins angenehm hĆ¼gelige Hinterland unternehmen. Die Gastgeber Heike und Klaus sind sehr herzlich und geben einem wirklich das gute GefĆ¼hl, willkommen zu sein.

Wir haben uns sooo gut in diesen Tagen erhohlt, die Ruhe, die schƶne heimelige Terrasse, das bestens ausgestattete Haus und phantastische Gastgeber. In der Markthalle haben wir alles bei Petra bekommen was in Topf und Pfanne spaƟ macht und die HĆ¼hner und die Eselin Mimi freuten sich Ć¼ber die Reste.
