Amarillo overnight
This hotel was clean, fairly new contemporary style, great service, very quiet and a good breakfast. The bed was firmer than I would like but I still slept decent. The price was great and it was not too far off of I-40.

No off street parking for trailers. Had to park on the street and walk a half block to property.

U-Haul trailer stolen —-
Do not stay here if you are passing through. The parking is not secure, and our U-Haul trailer was stolen off of our car between 12-6am. Per the police, this is a regular occurrence. Trailer was found within 3 hours of police report being filed.

One night stay with three kids
This hotel is very new and the room was very clean. The people were friendly and my kids enjoyed the breakfast, which is typical hotel although they were out of eggs. The only thing I didn’t like about the room is how bright it is, the blackout shades do not black it out completely. But otherwise everything was great.

Moving Trucks NOT permitted
The front desk clerks were nice, but didn’t seem to understand how to understand that “parallel parking” is what you do when you park along a curb on a street. They told us to park our Penske moving truck on the dark unlit street near the hotel, and that it couldn’t be “parallel parked”…well, that’s a complete contradiction. It HAS to be parallel parked on the street if they don’t want it in their hotel lot. Please train your staff to communicate effectively. If they don’t want customers to park large vehicles perpendicular to multiple spaces in the hotel lot, just say that. I’d also put that information on your website or booking sites…we wouldn’t have booked here if we knew our property would have to be sitting on a completely unsafe, unlit side street. We observed several other guests who left the hotel because they didn’t want to risk theft. At midnight, there would have been plenty of space in the lot for all of the vehicles we saw. The well-lit hotel lot is part of what we paid for as part of the hotel charge. “Parking” is in the terms, so a clear violation of terms as written…a legal case waiting to happen…

Square pillows, why !?!?
Very nice room and amenities. Last year I stayed at a Best Western and had the same one complaint . Why on earth did y’all switch to small square pillows ? They are horrible to sleep on . This time at least I had my own pillow. Otherwise the room is great.
