Highly recommended, a B&B that goes the extra mile
Lovely winter weekend. The B&B is perfectly central. The hosts were lovely and welcoming, rooms excellent and spacious for the Lakes and breakfast was excellent!! We would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay.

Relaxing time in the lakes
Wow. From the lovely welcome to the farewell, our host Lucy and Mike were a delight. The house was well appointed. The bedroom, we had a junior suite, was comfortable and suitable for our few nights away. Breakfast was superb with a great selection to suit even the fussy eaters. Hoping to return in the spring.

The best bed and breakfast I have stayed in
Wonderful stay at Elder Grove. The room was beautifully decorated with a large comfortable bed. Service was outstanding, a really warm welcome and lots of useful knowledge and suggestions of what to do in the local area. The cooked breakfast was excellent all using local produce too. Cannot recommend Elder Grove enough and counting down until we can stay again.

Best b and b we have stayed in in Ambleside by a mile! Spotlessly clean, beautifully laid out and excellent attention to detail. Breakfast was superb and the added Jura coffee machine at breakfast to make coffees of your choice was an excellent idea. We will definitely be returning as we were made to feel very welcome and it was like home from home.

Lovely B and B . Lovely room , very clean and nice touches in the room to make you feel Matthew and lucy really care you have a good stay. Breakfast was first class, nice surroundings and quality produce. Service overall was great and we will definately be back in the spring .
