the owner Mark lives also in the apartment in his private quarters.The studio is located on the first floor.
the big wide stairs when entering the building/hallways area are very welcoming and easy to take.
the studio/condo is located on the first floor and is 45 sq. meters.
outside from the studio is a big terrace which is a paradise in
summertime, with a tropical luscious pot garden.

walking distance from the studio to Central Station Amsterdam is about 15 minutes.
tram nr. 5 and 3 almost around the corner of the studio, and so are busses 18-21.
tram and busstops easy to reach from the studio.
The famous canals are on walking distance. So is the Anne Frankhouse.
tram 5 has got a stop almost in front of the apartment where the studio is located.
tram 5 from Marks studio stops a in front of the v. Gogh museum./ the Stedelijk museum/ and Rijksmuseum.
Most of the tourist attractions are on walking distance from the studio/condo.
The westerpark is one of the most popular parks of Amsterdam, due to the festivals and events and is located around the corner of the studiowithin a few minutes walk.

Going to Amsterdam Zandvoort beach during the summer months is easy. The train from central station takes only 15 minutes to the beach side.

The Jordaan also offers one of the most popular markets in Amsterdam: the Saturday market on the Lindengracht.

Attentive Host
We had a comfortable stay at a near central location with good tram connections to museums and other tourist attractions. Very close to Westerpark, a huge green space with good restaurants and a wonderful Sunday market. Mark meets each of his quests to make sure they are acquainted with the apartment and surroundings, such as grocery shopping, transportation etc.

Stylish apartment close to the best of Amsterdam.
Our host Mark was always fast to contact and reply to any messaging. He very kindly gave us detailed tips and notes of all best places to visit, like cafes, restaurants, museums, and canal tours. The big king bed was most comfortable, as were the lounge chairs. Mark certainly made our stay in Amsterdam smooth and easy.

Spent about 4 days here. Mark is a super great host. He arranged a ride for us from airport after we said we would take the train. Glad we listened to him. Flight arrives late and driver waited. We had an issue with internet and Mark had it fixed very very quickly. He gave us some very good local tips on things to see. Mark, thank you so much, we sure had a great (and long) chat on our arrival. If we visit again, you will be our 1st choice to stay.

Fantastic host and great location in Amsterdam
My wife and I were looking for a quiet, safe and conveniently located apartment on a 3 day visit to Amsterdam. We found it in Mark's VRBO. The apartment is clean, exactly as described and very comfortable. It does not have a kitchen or cooking area but we had our meals out, so not a concern for us. There is a mini fridge if needed. There is a small supermarket, bakery and restaurants on the same block. A tram stop literally outside the apartment takes you right to the museum area and other places of interest. Mark was one of the most charming and kind hosts we've ever met. He made sure all necessary information was provided prior to our arrival. He met us at the door and spent an hour chatting about the apartment, his beautiful garden, his love of the city and just making sure we were comfortably settled in.

Fantastic location!
A great location for exploring Amsterdam with the tram a block away, lovely cafes also within a block, the grocery downstairs. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and our host, Mark, was very helpfulin introducing us to Amsterdam. He even arranged for a car to pick us up at the airport. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location!
Mark is a great host! He welcomed us personally and briefed us about the Studio, the location and even ordered a taxi for us on the day of check out. The Studio is clean and has everything you need for your stay including flavored coffees, teas and even cold water replenished daily in the room. Bed is very firm which we liked. The location is easy to get around for most tourist attractions and tons of great restaurants just 5-15 minutes walk from the Studio. Although we've had bad weather during our stay, it was still memorable. Thank you Mark for being an exceptional host!

Great location in a residential neighborhood with easy access to all the Amsterdam hotspots. Mark is very informative, generous with his time, respectful of our privacy, and very helpful! We stayed for 4 nights. Great location to see Amsterdam. The studio is small but comfortable. Mark was a delightful host and had maps and tips for full enjoyment of Amsterdam. Decor is eclectic but everything was clean and comfortable. Outside of the building was a bit unclean but that’s due to a grocery business below..not the property owner. Thanks Mark. Absolutely fabulous
Close to 2 tram stations and a grocery store. Tons of closet space and hangers. Fridge worked out for drinks I could have at night. Sitting area was great for reading and relaxation. Easy check in and he told me all about Amsterdam and what I could do. He had a map of the city and tons of books if you needed ideas. If you needed help he was there and responded quickly. Could not have asked for a better place to stay or a better host. Bathroom had everything you needed as well and a ton of towels. I only used one because I don’t like to waste but he had at least 10 towels. Also had extra blankets. I stayed in the summer so I didn’t need them but I wanted to me room for others who might travel in cooler months. Also had a fan which was a major plus for me. He had a tea kettle and coffee machine with all kinds of flavors. Just an amazing place! Thanks for allowing me to stay at your home.

Our host greeted us warmly, supplied a map of the area, and tips for travel in town and activities. The room was as listed, very clean, and freshened daily while we were out. We very much appreciated the cold water in the refrigerator, the tea kettle, and coffee machine. The location was great with easy access to the trams and buses. We were able to walk to most of our locations as well. Communication was easy, quick, and as frequent as we needed.

Awesome stay at great location!
We had a great stay in this studio. The host, Mark was very welcoming. He reached out to me early on about when will we arrive and shared details about the location and photos of studio. On location he welcomed us in person and went over amenities of the studio. He went above and beyond by getting us a reservation at the cafe opposite to studio and requested them to prepare the food as we were late than kitchen closing. He had great recommendations for things to do. We had good talks with him. He informed us to let him know any questions we had and he answered them and again provided great service with air conditioning when we were cold. The place was very clean and location was great. The tram stops just minutes away and bus to central station was just a few minutes walk. Many restaurants around the studio. We recommend this studio!

Very good location, close to tram and only a 30 minute walk to the canals and pretty canal side buildings. Mark is a very friendly and engaging host with lots of local knowledge. Check in and check out was easy. The studio is comfortable with a nice washroom but no kitchen. Does have a small fridge for drinks. There are are two flights of stairs and no elevator. Very good, cozy place for a couple. Mark does a nice job of taking care of his guests and making sure they have what they need.

Great place for a great trip!
Location is great, walkable to the entire city with easy access to public transit. Plenty of room for my boyfriend and I to unpack and unwind while taking a break from enjoying the city. Good place, but host was less than ideal
My partner and I have traveled to many places in the word, staying in various Aribnb and Vrbo places. We tend to go with the ebbs and flows of international travel. The location of this place is great, being in a neighborhood, away from the tourist areas (but close enough to walk) and close to a great park, stores and restaurants. The apartment was small but contained all that we needed. Our main issue with the place is entirely related to the host. The host listed a check-in time of 3:00 pm, and our flight was arriving at 4:00. When we looked at our Vrbo account the night before we arrived, we saw several emails from the host asking us for an arrival time. When we replied, at around 10 PM the day before, saying we expected to arrive at around 6, the host said we did not give him enough time, he had made other arrangements, and we could not check-in until 8 PM. We kindly reminded him that the place was listed with a 3 PM check-in time, to which he replied that we were acting like "revolted teenagers." Worried that he would cancel on us at this late date, we agreed to the 8 PM time. When we arrived, he gave us the rules of the place, which included "no take away food in the flat, no food in the small refrigerator (because it could only cool water), and that he would be checking in on us every day". It was uncomfortable, and the instructions for the flat lasted about 30 minutes, which was a bit of a problem because we had friends waiting on us. He did provide great recommendations of restaurants in the neighborhood, and we did not have any problems during our stay. However, having to wait to check in 5 hours after the listed time could have made things very difficult, and the email exchanges were stressful. We mentioned here for you to consider.

Nice, clean flat. Nice neighborhood. Welcoming host.
Nice flat in a nice neighborhood. Comfy bed.. spacious flat. Convenient to most of Amsterdam...easy bus ride to central train station. Recommend taking bus to flat first and then off to adventure...for frequent visitors to the city, this flat is a fine place to call your temporary home. The neighborhood is out of the touristy areas, but it has it's own charm if you make it a point to make friends with the locals at Check Point Charlie's or other pubs and restaurants/shops. Make time to go to Westerpark.... Host is very nice and his garden is quite lovely, as all the flowers are in Amsterdam.

Great stay in Amsterdam
The property and our host were perfect for our four night stay in Amsterdam. Mark gave us plenty of suggestions for the area and seemed genuinely concerned that we have a good stay. Although we enjoy walking a lot, we did use the tram several times coming back at night and liked that the tram stop was very close to the property.
