Beds were comfortable enough, and for a quick stop, this does the trick. The nightstand and other surfaces were covered in a layer of dust, which made me wonder how clean it could be or when the last time it was wiped down. The plumbing was making loud noises the entire night, not sure if it was the neighbors flushing or if there was another issue. Bathroom was the nice albeit cramped. If you’re looking for a no frills, cheap stay, this is great. Check in was easy, literally didn’t see or hear from the property owners except a text requesting license plate.

This cute little motel had a clean basic room, however the beds were very soft and in need of replacement. The room had a refrigerator, microwave and coffee machine, plus a large fan. We didn't hear any road noise as we used the fan to cool the room. The location between Anchorage and Girdwood was convenient but there isnt much else around. There are however many hiking trails along the Seward highway, including across from the Bird Creek Motel.

We enjoyed our stay here. When we first drove by it was a little scary. Motel type places usually aren't places we would stay. It could use some updates on the outside and inside. It's an older place. On our second stay, the woman who helped my husband check in gave us the largest room because we had stayed there a week before. She was very kind. Her daughter came down to show us how to use the remote for the TV that we couldn't figure out. Very, very helpful and friendly. We will stay here again.

Small mom and pop, no frills but the necessities were great, as in great bed, pillows, bath and internet was fast enough. Quiet. It's Alaska and in the middle of nowhere, so not expecting the Hilton. But, comfortable and clean. So, winner winner.

In need of updates and not aesthetically appealing, which is fine for us. However, not worth the price we paid per night. Beds were comfortable, room was clean. Small shower stall. Nice size refrigerator and kitchen sink area.

An okay stay
Our room was okay, a little cramped. Very clean. Our reservation was for four people and we only received two washcloths and bath towels and when my grandson went up to the office and requested two more sets we received just two bath towels. Quick service but not what we asked for. I've never experienced as much self service as we did here, both check in and check out. Those instructions were very clear in the welcome email. What they didn't share for a first time visitor was that the rooms are in a building behind the office, not accessed through the office door that is basically all you see from Sterling Highway. That little detail could have been shared in their email.

Room was as expected for rate. It was clean and spacious. Almost no amenities. Only contact with manager was text and was ignored several times. Felt uncomfortable contacting management. Felt like customers annoyed them and were an inconvenience.
