Beautiful country home with a plunge pool, 4.50 x 1.7 m, where you can enjoy a cool drink in the summer heat.
The house is tucked away in the mountains. You can retreat from the stresses of everyday life here and enjoy a relaxing holiday.
The village Andratx with an outstanding infrastructure, the exclusive marina of Puerto de Andratx, the artists' village S`Arraco, beaches in Sant Elm, Camp de Mar, Palma de Mallorca and of course the airport are near.
To make your stay as pleasant as possible, we give you a bottle of wine as a welcome. We also provide plenty of towels, beach towels, linens, hair dryer, iron, kettle, fully equipped kitchen, electric barbecue, outdoor shower and Internet.
The bedroom has air conditioning. The house is heated with oil central heating.
For infants up to 3 years we can provide a cot.

Real Mallorcan country hideaway

We had a very relaxing stay at Gisela's little guest house. The accommodation is larger than you would believe from the photographs and the little plunge pool is just perfect for sitting in with a glass or two. Gisela was very welcoming despite our lateness due to a delayed flight, kindly changed our towels during our stay when we requested.The drive up to the house is a real challenge the first few times but it certainly shouldnt discourage you if you are a confident driver from staying here. You are definitely in the country side so do expect, mosquitoes (Gisela provides ample pug in devices) wall lizards and plenty of ants. The beach at Saint Elm (15 minutes by car) is beautiful with sand under the shallow water for a long way out, perfect for snorkelling, swimming or simply cooling off. The port at Andrax is great for a evening meal or breakfast. The accommodation has a good sized fridge and freezer if you prefer to self cater but the oven is a small table top one with only one tray for cooking on. Overall a very lovely little place to relax and unwind in. Thank you Gisela for a wonderful stay, we hope to return next year.

We had a lovely short stay at this finca, it had everything we needed. We would recommend but the road to the finca is very narrow and hilly so take care! Gisela was available to help if needed.

Mountain retreat

Great host. Responsive and helpful. Cabin has all the basics. 10 minutes from town and 20 to the beach. Very narrow roads up the mountain and in the town of Andraitx, so keep that in mind when renting a vehicle. Be comfortable with tight turns. Cabin is a nice space. Bedroom, leads to bathroom that leads to a living/kitchen area. There's a separate room with a pool table. This faces the small pool in the outdoor area. Comfortable for a few days. It is really in the middle of the mountains, so bring mosquito repellent if planning to lounge in the patio.

We loved our stay!

We had a short stay of only 4 nights but it was so lovely! Gisela is very responsive and friendly and we has great directions to get to the place. Make sure to have a small hire car as lots of windy bendy roads, but worth it! Very peaceful and quiet. You stay behind the hosts own home but you feel on your own. The property was very clean and had a great kitchen and bathroom and comfy bedroom with aircon. The plunge pool was lovely for a refresh and the outside area was very relaxing, make sure to pack some mosquito repellent if you are like me and find that you attract lots of them! Andratx town is a 10 minute drive away with a lovely plaza and lots of restaurants and two big supermarkets if you want to cook for yourself. The port is also very close and great for a morning stroll and coffee. We highly recommend sant elm, a lovely beach town with sunbeds to hire, showers, plenty of restaurants and swimming spots. We loved our stay so much and we're sad to leave! Thank you very much for a wonderful stay.

Beautiful home just a 20 minute walk from lovely village and 20 minute drive to beach with bars and shops. You need to hire a small car as roads are narrow and windy but well through it. We absolutely loved it here.

Wonderful secluded spot, everything we needed and more.

This is a beautiful, quiet location, hidden 5 mins out of Andratx town, on the hill side. Gisela was kind enough to stock the fridge with a few basics, as we were arriving on a Sunday, and most shops are closed. The whole place was spotlessly clean, and had all the facilities you could need, even providing coal and fire-lighters for the bbq. Plus the games room has a great record collection as well as the pool table. After showing us the property, we didnt see the owners at all - which was perfect as we were on our honeymoon! You would have to have your own car to stay here, and the last few kms is a fairly steep climb on a single track, but that is what gives it it's seclusion, so not meant as a complaint. We had sunshine from first thing in the morning till about 5pm (in late May), then a 10 min drive gets you into Andratx Port with cocktail bars and sea-front restaurants. What more could you want?! Thank you for having us, we'd be back in a heart beat. Rob and Alex

A wonderful retreat in the mountains

We needed a well hidden place to unwind for a week and this beautiful place did not disappoint. Gisela made us so welcome with all the little touches. If you are looking for an escape this is the perfect place!!! Warning you must have a car to reach! Sant Elm is well worth a visit and only 10 mins away. We will definately return! Thanks so much xx

Ein toller Aufenthalt

Das Haus liegt wunderschƶn auƟerhalb von Andratx. Gisela Schuischel ist eine tolle Gastgeberin.Man kann einige schƶne Wanderungen direkt vom Haus aus machen. Ein Auto ist aber dennoch unbedingt empfehlenswert. Der Check-In war vƶllig unkompliziert.Da unser Flug am Abreisetag erst um 22 Uhr ging, konnten wir sogar noch bis abend im Haus bleiben.Vielen Dank fĆ¼r die schƶnen Tage.Elisabeth und Uwe

Traumhafte Unterkunft

Die Unterkunft inmitten des Tramuntana-Gebirges ist wunderschƶn. Wer sich zurĆ¼ckziehen und die Natur genieƟen mƶchte, ist hier genau richtig. AuƟerdem fehlt es in der Unterkunft an nichts. Traumhafter Blick auf die Berge. Ein Minipool zum AbkĆ¼hlen. Ein Aufenthaltsraum mit Billardtisch. Wo gibt es das schon? Gastgeberin Gisela hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und uns alles auf der Finca gezeigt. Auch bei der Auffahrt hat sie uns super Tipps gegeben šŸ˜‰ Wir hatten einen Regentag erwischt, aber kein Problem einfach Gisela fragen und es wurde sofort geholfen. Ich kann diese Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen!!!

Die Finca hat sogar unsere Erwartungen Ć¼bertroffen! Super schƶn und sauber. Man hat komplette PrivatsphƤre. Auch die Lage ist toll und man kann von dort aus mit dem Mietwagen tolle AusflĆ¼ge machen. Auch der Kontakt mit Gisela war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert! Sehr gerne wieder :)

Ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt inmitten herrlicher Natur

Wir waren zwei Wochen Ende Juni auf der Finca. Bereits im Vorfeld war die Kommunikation mit Frau Schuischel immer sehr nett und es wurde schnell geantwortet. Es handelt sich um ein paradisisches kleines Haus inmitten der schƶnsten Flora und Fauna die man sich fĆ¼r Mallorca vorstellen kann. Es ist einfach perfekt. Die Finca liegt etwas oberhalb des Ortes Andratx in den Bergen. Dadurch hat man sehr viel Ruhe und erlebt das echte Mallorca. Hier liegt das einzige kleine Manko. Die Auffahrt zur Finca ist wirklich extrem steil und eng! Es ist unbedingt zu empfehlen einen kleinen Mietwagen zu nehmen der nicht zu tief liegend ist, da man sondt schnell aufsetzt. Die Finca befindet sich auf dem GrundstĆ¼ck der Familie Schuischel, man hat jedoch durch den traumhaft angelegten Garten und die Bauart der HƤuser 100% PrivatsphƤre. In der Finca befindet sich alles was man braucht. Auch ein Hobbyraum mit vielen Mƶglichkeiten. Man merkt dass Frau Schuischel sehr bemĆ¼ht ist den GƤsten den perfekten Aufenthalt zu bescheren. Sie gibt sich groƟe MĆ¼he, selbst wenn etwas nicht den Vorstellungen der GƤste entsprechen sollte. Auch bei generellen Fragen kann man immer auf sie zukommen. Wirklich eine perfekte Gastgeberin und ein unvergesslicher Aufenthalt. Wir kƶnnen die Finca wirklich von Herzen weiter empfehlen. Wir haben uns so wohl gefĆ¼hlt, dass wir am Ende richtig traurig waren schon zu gehen!

Quiet retreat

We booked this cottage for the second time and it was again amazing. The cottage is a little paradise for two and is ideal for leaving the hectic life behind you. Then again, entering the cottage takes some driving skills and the steepness isn't for the faint hearted. But when you want to be in a peaceful environment for a couple of days, in total privacy, and don't want to be in touch with other people, this is the place to be. Thanks to Gisele for the wonderful stay.
