Very close to University of Michigan North Campus and to expressway. Fast access to downtown Ann Arbor as well. You can walk safely to Panera Bread and Plum Market from the back of the hotel (direct sidewalk). Also, several restaurants in the area, the area of Bandito's and subway and the gym seems. safe as well. Clean rooms and towels and sheets. Hot water working well. Breakfast has a fair amount of options, varied from one day to the next one. The furniture is what is a little run down. And coincidentally, the hotel was changing from Hampton Inn to another management, so some details were being changed but nothing disruptive.

Our stay was 2 days before it changed name from Hampton to something different. Don’t know how long ago Hampton parent company decided to get rid of this property, but it was clear that it has not received routine upkeep to meet the standards I have been accustomed to from other Hampton stays. The staff members at the front desk were great. The room was quiet. It was adequately clean. Everything else was way below typical Hampton standards… unless this is what I can expect from Hampton in the future.

Decent hotel
The hotel is nice. Decent breakfast. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The one thing I would like to see changed is the communal soap, conditioner and location. I am not a fan as I have no idea if someone put anything into the bottles.
