St. Lucia Private Oceanfront Secluded Villa with Pool/Full Staff Including Chef

A secluded, private oceanfront villa with stunning 360 degree views of the Caribbean sea, lush valley and mountains. Unique open air architecture to allow you to truly enjoy the Caribbean breezes and extraordinary views. Staff of 3+ - all cooking, cleaning, laundry is provided. Tucked away, hiddden beach, stereo, etc. Truly a paradise for 2-3 couples, 6 friends or a family or two. Shower al fresco in Les Chaudieres' outdoor shower room!

Les Chaudieres sits on a promontory above the Caribbean Sea and the Anse Galet valley and beach, with cooling breezes, panoramic views of tropical mountains and the sea. The beach is just below and you can hear the surf. Hike a trail down to enjoy this secluded shoreline with snorkeling, or you can drive around to it with equipment / picnic supplies in 2 minutes. All beaches on St. Lucia are public property, but Anse Galet has no commercial or residential development on it. It is usual to have it entirely to yourself (but on occasion, there will be the odd party / get-together; in which case, be prepared for some local music).

You will want to explore the island some, but Christy's amazing cuisine will keep beckoning you back to home. Although the purchase/cost of groceries and beverages are not included, Christy and her staff will plan menus with you and turn out Caribbean feasts you will long remember. And all the cleanup is taken care of, so you hardly have to lift a finger.

Please see our website for more info and availability. We are booking more than a year in advance, so please consider reserving now!

Wow, Les Chaudieres was the perfect spot for my wife and three daughters (19, 21 and 23) to relax and just get some R&R. The staff at the Villa are incredible! Christy is the boss and makes everything go smoothly! If you want something done, she will make it happen. Fresh fruit each morning for breakfast from the trees on the property, mangos, coconuts, papaya. Meals were prepared, laundry washed and all sightseeing tours arranged. We pretty much stayed on the Villa Compound the whole time except when touring. Had an especially great tour of the rainforest where we were able to sight the elusive Amazon Parrot. Then we went crabbing late at night with Stine, and we had such a marvelous time. Our vacation was one we will remember for years and the Villa was perfect, calm and unique and would recommend to anyone! God willing we will return!! -Kirk

Quiet, Relaxing, Beautiful, and Views
We really enjoyed our time at Les Chaudieres. The views were incredible and the villa was clean and comfortable. The staff were warm, friendly, and very helpful. We will fondly remember the delicious meals Christy and Kershell prepared. It's centrally located and we were easily able to go south to Soufriere to walk the botanical garden, enjoy the falls and drive over to Anse Chastanet for some wonderful snorkeling. We also drove north to Castries and caught our boat for a fishing excursion. We went at the beginning of the wet season so it was very warm and humid, but that did nothing to detract from our time in St. Lucia. We enjoyed our time and would not hesitate to repeat our stay in the future.

Honeymoon
Beryl sucked during our stay. The owner discounted us for the time lost which was great. Christie cooks the best lunch/dinners you can eat. Kershell makes a wonderful breakfast and cleans your room and common areas neatly. The downs: We brought deet bug spray that did nothing to stop the no-see-um type of tiny biting bugs. They did not bother/ affect me, however, my wife was so bad after a few nights of itching/painful bites that she was in tough shape. And of course Beryl shut down the airport and all driving for a day... we had fun and were safe during it all. Last downer was the hot water to the master was out for the last several days.. It was so warm out I was okay, however the wife is usually cold and needed the hot water. Overall the place is private, the food is as good or better than all of the reviews and the staff is stellar. Oh, if you plan on driving south down the west coast... it compares to driving down a bowl in some spots... sketchy. Mark

This villa and the staff made this the dream holiday. From the views to the comfy beds to the delicious breakfasts, lunches and dinners, this place truly made our holiday and was the perfect place to relax and return home feeling rested. Christy is very communicative, making planning meals and shopping trips a breeze. The villa is 20 mins (driving) from the nearest big supermarket, which is the only slight negative to the location if you wanted to be able to quickly nip out or walk, but being in the centre-west-coast means you get a calm sea on the beach below the villa and you are within an hour of both the north and south of the island.

The view was spectacular; I am not really a pool person but enjoyed every minute in the pool. I read the reviews and the property still exceed any of my limited expectations. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. We looked forward to our meals because the food was absolutely delicious. The four of us had an amazing stay and would not hesitate to do it again. Thank you all for hosting us.

Amazing doesn’t even start to describe how calm, beautiful and attentive this property is. St Lucia should be on your pocket list and if it is, you must come here. You will not be disappointed. Starting with the communication with the host to being very flexible with us, to Christy’s suggestions of where to go, her tips and her cooking. Omg! We had so much fun, we felt at home, location is great, the house is wonderful for families or a group of friends. We had a blast, thank you so much, we will be back again

Great spot
Christy and company were awesome. Made everyone at home and were super friendly. The place could use a little TLC but the new owner is working on it. Most spectacular views and sun sets of any place I’ve been. Don’t bother going out to eat, the chef prepared better dishes than the places we tried, hands down. They ate lucky to have Christy and Clershell. Also, if you aren’t an accomplished driver, hire one.

Wonderful stay, gorgeous location
Just back from a lovely stay with Christy and team. We very much enjoyed the week in St Lucia! The rental has a private staircase right down to the beach were we did some excellent snorkeling. Ti Kaye beach is also quite close and also excellent snorkeling. Food at rental was satisfying and meals in the open air dining room cant be beat. Outdoor shower also a highlight. Great stargazing, backgammon, watching boats through the field lens, playing croquet, speculating on the nature of toads.

This property is amazing! The views were breathtaking, and the pool and accommodations were spot on. The best part of the whole trip was meeting the locals that took care of us. Christy, Kershell, and Hillary were fantastic! Christy planned everything, booked our excursions and made the most incredible dinners. Kershell washed laundry and made delicious breakfasts to kick the day off. Hillary watched over the property and made us feel safe and sound at all times. We also had a driver, Lenny, that showed us all the sights. We went to dinner one time and to be completely honest, it was good but it didn’t compare to the food Christy prepared each time. Loved this place and the staff so much, we already booked our next trip

Nothing short of astonishing
I cannot over emphasise how amazing our stay at La Chaudieres was. The location is stunning, with views over the beach, the rainforest covered mountains, the local fishing villages. It is honestly breathtaking. If you can tear your eyes away from the surroundings, the house itself is wonderful. Sitting in the hammock, or relaxing at the multitude of different seating areas, you can't fail to relax. The beds are super comfy and the rooms are spacious. There are some reviews which suggest the property is a bit tired, which I don't agree with. Sure the bathrooms need updating, but that's such a minor element, I only mention it to defend previous comments. If you're looking for modern pristine, go to Sandals and enjoy an anonymous holiday. If you want luxury in St Lucia, look no further. But beyond the stunning views and the lovely house, this place is all about the people. Christy is the most phenomenal cook. Every meal was a joy and an adventure. Cushelle, who cooks breakfast, Lenny, the driver, Hillary the security guy, they felt like family, like friends for our stay. Although we were in a very plush environment, we truly felt like we were getting to know St Lucia, the food, the people, the culture. I cannot recommend this property highly enough. Just thanks for a wonderful, much needed holiday. It was awesome.

Classic Caribbean Hideaway
Located on a promontory, giving the most stunning views and a sense of peace and privacy. Nearby Anse La Raye is a pretty, unspoiled fishing village. But do not expect to find restaurants or shops. This part of the island is often overlooked and has a true Caribbean feeling. The villa is designed as open-plan and exudes a sense of genteel elegance, making you feel like a welcome visitor in a private home. The crowning glory is Christy, Kershell and Hillary. A few other villas also offer staff, but this is usually limited to breakfast and lunch. By negotiation, Christy is willing to provide additional services (though be mindful that this may be above her normal duties). She is an excellent cook, but not everything is available on the island and so you may not be able to have what you are used to. She is an expert at using readily available ingredients to serve delicious meals. Christy can organise airport pickup and outings using the wonderful Lenny. Also boat trips (highly recommended). This will be a small traditional fishing boat at a fraction of the cost you would be charged for the loud, floating discos you see coming from the north of the island. The villa has recently changed hands and the new owners have begun updating. Air-con has been installed and the water pressure improved. This is the place for people who enjoy a sedate, peaceful paradise, rather than a buzzing full-on holiday package. Needless to say we have already re-booked for next year

Paradise at Les Chaudieres
Our group loved the authentic Caribbean charm of this villa. We were well looked after by Christy, Kershama, and Hilary. The Villa meals were outstanding, as we enjoyed dining in the open air family room. Being perched up high, the views were from a postcard. Our only challenge was plumbing (at times), though Anne has reassured that this is top priority for future guests. When you stay make sure to give Milo the dog lots of love. We miss him already!

Paradise!
Anse La Raye was simply the best! The property itself is completely private, gorgeous with its open-walled living room, and stunning with its views from the pool overlooking the ocean. But it was Christy, Kershell & Henry who made it super special (plus Milo the dog). Our family of 4 stayed over Christmas vacation & didn't have to worry about a thing, especially as stores were closed. Christy & Kershell cooked the most incredible meals for us & organized all of the food for us, including cooking on the open grill in the main living room. Christy even organized a private boat/snorkling trip for us from Marigot Bay to Sugar Beach Resort. We also visited the nearby Ti Kaye, Project Chocolate & the Sulfur Springs and spent time at the mostly private beach that was a short walk down the many steps from the house. If you love being in nature & don't mind sometimes being low on water pressure, this is the place for you! One of a kind in so many ways!

St Lucia
Very elegant property situated on a bluff over the Caribbean. Open air main room was fantastic. Staff superb and meals excellent. Main problem is with the roads in St Lucia, not the property. The roads are in poor repair and extremely curvy with few signposts or safety markers. Would be very difficult to stay without a rental car. With that issue under control we had a great time at beach, horseback riding, ziplining and making chocolate

The property is breathtaking. The drive from the airport is not for the faint of heart. Be prepared for a long winding drive and just enjoy. The house is situated in a point overlooking the Carribean sea and it is stunning. If you are looking for fancy bathrooms and air conditioning this is not the place for you. If you are looking to really get away and live in an open air house with history and charm, and a staff that handles all cooking, cleaning and errands while making you feel completely at home— this just might be for you. Many days and nights spent by the large pool and deck overlooking the sea. The staff can pre-order booze and wine making life a lot easier when you arrive. We went with two other couples and all of us took turns using the outdoor shower that overlooked the beautiful landscape and the sea. I found the entire experience perfect for a chill week to unwind with friends. Bring lots of sunscreen, don’t worry life and just enjoy.

We read all the prior reviews of Les Chaudieres before booking it, and to save everyone the trouble, here's the gist: if you are someone who is going to fret about updated bathrooms or freak about interactions with creatures (insects, lizards, bats, frogs, etc), save everyone the unpleasantries and book yourself a room at the Holiday Inn. If, on the other hand, you want to stay at a place of breathtaking beauty, where inside and outside, human and nature meld; where just as you finish berating yourself for expecting or desiring hot water in the tropics, the most glorious trickle of it warms you to the core and you realize that you have everything you could possibly need; where the air smells like the most lovely, subtle perfume you could imagine; where a gracious staff who stay out of your way but are readily available to help and who leave you feeling pampered with amazing meals, clean laundry, made-up beds, and a clean pool and lawn every morning, this is the place for you. One special note, as a previous guest complained about the cost of his meals--we had one terrible lunch at a resort on the island which cost us over a quarter of the cost of the seventeen remaining meals which we ate at Les Chaudieres, despite the fact that every meal at Les Chaudieres was an amazing, multi-course feast (lobster, fish, roti, curries, fresh fruits and salads, homemade desserts, etc). The staff was gracious enough to shape their schedules and meals to our wishes, to share information, and to help us arrange boat tours, hiking guides, etc. One should recognize that a significant proportion of St. Lucian's survive on approximately five USD per day, and services are expensive (with more strain now related to impacts of COVID and the war in Ukraine), so we did not fret about the fact that the nearest beach (walking down the steps from the property) had garbage that needed collecting, etc...it remained a beautiful place to swim and practice snorkeling, with generally only small groups/families visiting; also, given that all beaches on St. Lucia are public, we were able to visit a range of beaches that each had their own character and level of glitz. Overall, our stay at Les Chaudieres was truly a magical experience, and our gratitude goes to Kerschell, Hilary, and Christy (and Taco, the sweetest ever visiting puppy) for making our stay so lovely.

The Worse House To Take A Vaca.
I have been vacationing for over 25 yrs now. This property is not suitable for guests to stay while they are on vacation. 1. Bathrooms-needs to be updated/non functioning shower heads/ no hot water/smells. 2.NO A/C-sleeping at night especially was terrible/bugs crawling all over the room. There are mice and mice droppings on the floor. We are so bitten up by all sorts of insects. Huge unusual Marks left on our body especially my children. INiw I have to take them to a doctor. My family including myself did not get a good nights rest for our ten days of stay. 3. The house is very dusty and needs a complete deep cleaning and upgrade. 4. The outside of this property is beautiful/still needs some changes for safety, especially if traveling with small children. The outdoors furniture is infested with droppings from the insects, bats and rats etc…therefore, there was no place to lay down and relax and no TV. The Panasonic view is breathtaking. One thing that kept us from leaving during our stay was the wonderful staff. The property manager-excellent service and she prepared some delicious meals for our family. Very friendly and treated us with respect. Always willing to help. Hillary kept the outdoors very clean during our stay. Also, with trips ideas. Overall, this property should not be listed to rent while a family is on vacation. It is not worth the money asked per night and the living condition. It can make you ill because of all the bits and droppings from the bats, rats and who knows what else. I really wish the owners can take the time and reevaluate this home not just to collect visitors hard earned money and not providing quality service for their guests.

Our family of five had a wonderful week at the house. The views are absolutely amazing! The house is a little run-down, but everything is functional and clean. Christy's meals were excellent and it was great not having to worry about anything! Kashelle’s breakfasts were great and she cleaned our rooms and did our laundry! It was great to have Lenny to drive us anywhere, since we couldn’t rent a car. I would definitely recommend this property, just bring bug spray and plenty of cash!
