This property is listed for online booking, which we booked as it was available. I tried contacting the number listed but it’s an incorrectly listed number so we weren’t able to get directions to the home. An Expedia agent tried to as well and couldn’t get in contact with the place neither. We finally found the house after asking around the village for this place only to finally find the place and meet one of the property managers on site, and the manager was shocked that we had booked online as she wasn’t aware of an online booking site. Needless to say, we were told they have no houses available and no rooms available and that they do not use the online booking, only people that call in for reservations. I do appreciate the property manager for being forthcoming in her awareness of the situation (or lack thereof) and being apologetic about the situation. The property manager said we should contact Expedia to get our money back as we didn’t stay there. We were a party of 10 (6 adults, 2 kids, 2 infants) so my anger meter could’ve skyrocketed much higher but the property manager seemed genuinely apologetic about this situation and…I was still on the losing end.
I checked this specific place again a few days later and sure enough, they still had rooms listed as “available.”
Scam! Find another crappy place to stay at if you’re desperate like we were. We actually lucked out and found rooms at an unlisted hotel downtown instead. Problem solved!
