I was told I would get instructions on check in, check out and other pertinent information the morning my reservation started. That morning I sent the host a message asking if it would be possible to check in early. Hours went by without a response. Check in was after 1 pm, but by 12:45 I still hadn’t received any information. 1st time VRBO user and I was very concerned. Searched and searched the VRBO website and finally found a phone number for Customer Service. Called, was put on a lengthy hold while they contacted the host and I finally received the instructions. I arrived at this location at approx 4:45, walked in and there were no linens on the bed! Strike 2. Sent a message to the host, but again no reply so I contacted Customer Service again and was told they would get ahold of the host to get it taken care of. When asked how long they have to fix it, I was told 12 hrs! No tv directions and Netflix was in Spanish even after it was “fixed”. Amenities clearly said a hair dryer was provided, but not according to the host when I asked for it. I see that has been removed. No hair dryer and no coffee pot, but nice finishes - soft close drawers and cabinets, high end fridge, nice shower. Table provided, but no chair(s), waffle towels that were terrible, no secondary security lock on the inside of the door. I think people would prefer a coffee pot over an ice machine and decent bath towels as well as wash cloths and hand towels.
