Captain's House, a coastal peaceful comfortable spacious home with 180 degrees ocean views. With a reverse floor plan and large windows you can watch the waves roll in, see the change in ocean color throughout the day and the sunsets. An under 2 min walk, gets you on a beautiful empty beach whenever you feel like. A covered deck with expansive ocean views invites you often to feel the ocean breeze and hear the sound of crashing waves. The back deck with gas grill has partial ocean view, lush rain forest view and mountain view. The memory foam comfortable mattresses on all beds will give you a deep long night sleep in the strong fresh ocean air. All 4 bedrooms have their own private bath and work table with chair(s). One bedroom has a UHD computer monitor
The house has two living rooms.
The living room downstairs can be used as a 5th walk through sleeping area. It has a queen sofa bed sleeper that pulls out into bed and a twin bed.
The dinning table has 10 comfortable dining chairs. There are also 4 counter height chairs at the kitchen island

1 child’s highchair, 2 X pack' n plays with mattresses + 3 sheets for mattresses, stepping stools, 1 baby gate (all stored away in closets).

Property was very nice and well appointed. You could tell that the property management has been renting vacation homes for a while and knew what a renter would need. Arch Cape is a great location for a relaxing vacation, while being close enough to all the sites to see the things you want to. Great stay.

We had a fabulous time at your beautifully appointed Beach Home. From Crabbing at Kelly’s in Nehalem Bay, to shopping in Cannon Beach to Golf at Gearhart our Minnesota and New Jersey family made memories we will treasure the rest of our lives. Perfect girls' trip!
We seven moms thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Captains House for a nice long weekend. I don't know how many times I heard a friend say, "this house is so great!" It was absolutely perfect, well stocked, beautiful view, comfortable...I could go on and on. We especially appreciated that each bedroom had its own bathroom. Are stay in the Captains House was absolutely amazing. It’s our second time staying in your beautiful home and nothing disappointed us! We love the Oregon coast and everything about it. We even had decent weather for this time of year which was a bonus. Your location is perfect for hiking, searching for sand dollars, visits to Cannon Beach bakery and Bruce’s candy kitchen, eating at Mo’s and access to the beach for morning walks, playing in the sand or enjoying a camp fire sunset. Second Stay
My husband and I stayed in this property for 10 days in September of 2023. This was our second time to rent the house, renting it four years prior for a month. The house is very clean and has a view of the ocean, which is only steps away. There’s a front balcony and back balcony; both have places for 8 guests to sit and enjoy the surroundings. We truly love this place. The bedding is soft but unfortunately we are not duvet people. There is only a duvet on the beds—no sheet. They offer blankets in the closets. The king bed pillows were uncomfortable and need to be changed. They balloon up on either side of your head. The pillows in the queen bedrooms are comfy. We had two situations we were trying to work out with the manager of the house and were disappointed in her responses. One issue was a slow draining sink in the upstairs master bedroom. The other was the sound of a mouse or some small animal in the downstairs wall between the garage and foyer. She was dismissive of both and even suggested we might not have heard anything at all, saying no one else had ever heard anything, and she didn’t want to waste money sending someone out to see if there was a problem even though I had heard loud scratching and digging early one morning that I could hear from upstairs. She went on to dismiss our request for the drain to be fixed saying it would be done after we left as it was very difficult to get workers in this “remote area with bears and mountain lions.” Hmmmm.

Lots of space for extended family visit
Our group ranged from ages 9 to 83, and this home was a great space for everyone. There are bedrooms on the ground floor of the home (with just a few steps in), which is a nice option for individuals who have more limited mobility, but the kitchen and main gathering space are on the second floor. We appreciated lots of bathrooms. The home is in great condition, and it was very clean when we arrived. The quiet beach was wonderful. We enjoyed being able to walk to Hug Point in the mornings. We hope to be able to stay here again.

Beach house with everything
Captain’s House was perfect for our Labor Day getaway to Cannon Beach. We were 3 families with 11 total (5 kids between 5 and 14) and had ample room to all be together but also have our own space. The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked and equipped and had everything we needed for 4 days with a lot of varied cooking. The ping pong table was a hit, and we really appreciated all the beach chairs, towels, toys, games, and equipment. The portable lanterns and s’more sticks came in really handy for our beach bonfires too. The house is just a couple of minutes away from the beach. This part of the coast is nice and close to Cannon Beach, but just that bit quieter which we prefer. We’d definitely recommend the house and would stay here again in a heartbeat. Very easy communication with the host too.

This is one of the premier homes in Arch Cape. Great four bedroom suite with a nice kitchen, dinning area and great room. A deck faces the beach which is a four minute walk. The house is well kept, works well for groups. The property manager is easy to contact, attends to your needs and is very helpful. This is our favorite home in the area. Perfect property for extended family
Everything about this property is amazing. Location: Just minutes from the beach and a couple miles from downtown Cannon Beach. The house itself is spacious and well laid out. The furnishings were great and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need. We really enjoyed our time and will be back next year. The only suggestion would be a heavier blind on the downstairs master bedroom. The sun was quite bright and distracting in the morning. Highly recommend this property.

The house is described accurately. This property in Arch Cape has a very close beach access. The kids could play in the sand and fly kites with plenty of private space on the beach to run and play. We were there to meet up with family in Cannon Beach to celebrate the life of our mother (grandmother, and great grandmother). Thanks for a lovely vacation!

We were able to return to Captain’s House again this year with our son, daughter-in-law and two grandchildren and we all had a great time. It is one of our favorite rental houses at Arch Cape. Spacious, beautiful and comfortable decor and perfect for a family of 6-8 people. Love the kitchen with the big island and so well equipped with tone of dishes. Love the deck- great place to sit, although I liked it better without the big table as it crunches the space on the deck. Just minutes to the beach and beach chairs and toys are already in the garage. Beautiful house to enjoy Arch Cape.

Fantastic, spacious house
We've rented a number homes on the coast over the years, and this is one of the best. Pictures often make the house feel larger than it is, but in this case it was even more spacious than we anticipated. The fact that there were so many good-sized bedrooms with attached baths gave everyone some level of privacy when needed. Very short, easy walk to beach.

Great Spot!
Great distance from Cannon Beach, but quiet and spacious. This looks to be one of the newer houses in Arch Cape, and is big, spacious, and clean. Everything about it was great. Very quick walk to the beach. The number of bathrooms makes it a convenient stay for families.

This was a planned gathering of 5 siblings who have not all been together physically for a good 4-5 years. They all met in this house. One from Thailand, from Scranton PA, from Silverdale WA, Roseville CA. The house when we got there was super clean and all furnitures are all in good condition. Appliances are all in good working condition. We enjoyed our 4 nights stay and will consider staying again in the future. Big shout out to Cristina who provided the info we needed to be comfortable with our stay and her services even after our stay. Exceptional and can’t thank her enough.
