A quiet mountain stop
The hotel is situation in a small mountain top village with winding roads and beautiful views. It is also on a hiking trail if you fancy a long walk. The hotel has excellent facilities with free parking outside (no height restrictions). It was extremely clean and hosts were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also very good with a lot of choice. We did find it a little difficult to find (partly due to tiredness) but the hotel is just across the road from the parking area and church. Would definitely recommend if your looking for somewhere quiet with stunning views.

Positives: Good value for money. Staff try very hard to please guests. Dinner was simple flavors, plentiful food (multiple courses), decent value for the (not low) price, Mixed: Long drive over narrow roads, but pleasant views. to an area filled with vineyards, restful, not too interesting. Negatives: Restaurant options mostly require a drive. Bed was very hard, limited light for reading.

Einfach Spitze ! Sehr herzlicher Empfang von Zumira in ihrem wunderschönen typischen Haus, ehemals eine Quinta. Das Abendessen wurde von Miguel und Zumira alleine für uns vorbereitet. Miguel ist ein hervorragender Küchenchef und hat uns mit Spezialitäten vewöhnt! Bis spät in der Nacht haben wir Anekdoten und Geschichten ausgetauscht. Herzlichen Dank für diese Gastfreundschaft. Déjà l'accueil est trop top alors tout le reste est à la hauteur, c'est du très haut niveau d'accueil. Nos hôtes font le maximum pour nous rendre le séjour agréable. La chambre est spacieuse avec la climatisation et la salle de bain est bien équipée. Le dîner est super, nos deux sont d'excellents cusiniers et nous font découvrir les produits locaux. un grand MERCI pour ce bon moment.

We just LOVE this place. The area is very beautiful. The couple running this place are just the most sweetest people we met in Portugal so far, they are very loving, caring, helpful and they make you feel like home. We recommend to eat here too one night because they cook amazing too(and really not expensive for what you get!). Room was big and well set up, breakfast is just amazing with fresh baked cake, fruits, bread, coffee ect. We really recommend staying here and for sure come back when we ll be around again :-)!!

Un buen lugar para descansar y explorar la zona. El hotel está muy bien, y las habitaciones son muy amplias. El desayuno es completo y muy correcto. Pero lo que más destaca es el trato del propietario, que es muy atento y amable, atendiendo cualquier petición o necesidad que tengas. Lo único a lo que le puedo poner pegas es a los colchones, que son excesivamente duros.

Hôtes charmants. Dans un petit village entre Lamego ,Peso Da Regua et Armamar, une super maison d'hôtes pour la visite du Douro. Chambres spacieuse, confortable et propre. Déjeuner copieux avec des produits de maison , confiture, fruits de saison, gâteaux et pain frais du boulanger du village. Repas fait par nos hôtes, une délice, fait maison avec amour. Nos hôtes, Zulmira et Luis, nous ont accueillis très chaleureusement dans leur domaine. La chambre est spacieuse et très confortable, avec une petite terrasse attenante. On peut aussi se prélasser dans la cour intérieure aménagée pour la détente. Le petit déjeuner est généreux et délicieux. Le premier soir, le couple nous a préparé un repas à trois services arrosé de vins du pays et de porto. Un vrai délice! Nous recommandons chaudement cet endroit.
