Basic apartment in poor condition
On arrival the office was closed with nobody around to greet me, give me keys and show me to my room. Subsequently, after several phone calls from me I reached someone who sent a Cleaner down to let me in, who knew nothing about my booking or the room.
The room was not clean
The shower was hanging off the wall and has to be repaired by me before I could use it and even then was poor temperature and pressure. Also the shower area was mouldy and metals rusty.
The toilet bowl moved when sat on, this was not attached to the floor
The bed was due to be a double, as requested by me upon booking. A single bed was provide which which gave whoful comfort.
I had to clean the bedroom before I was comfortable sleeping in it.
The oven was dirty
The sink was dirty
Some cupboards were dirty
Some cupboards were stuffed with old disgraced leaflets and paperwork
Despite being assured, there was no wifi. As I was on a working holiday this subsequently cost a small fortune in private internet bills.
My big problem however, was there was nobody in the office all week. Nobody to ask for help, nobody to complain to and nobody to ask questions. I was not informed of the checking out procedure so when checking out I had no choice but to leave the keys for my apartment on the doorstep of the office (no letterbox) and hope that they reached the correct pair of hands.
All in all.. poor.
To finish on a positive, the pool area was great!
