OUR STAY AT ASCAIN
We stayed here because of the 4/ 5 star rating reviews , for us it did not stand up to portrayed as that. The veranda is very nice , but the bedrooms and bathroom has no natural light. Sophie and Denis are very nice hosts , and will help you in any way they can . The village of ASCAIN is very good for numerous walks , and you have a good choice of bars and restaurants , which is 5mins by car , and the coast is not too far away. The goats and chicken are lovely

We are coming back!
We highly recommend! My Husband and I enjoyed this property so much, we extended our stay by a week and we can't wait to come back. As animal lovers, we enjoyed time with the goats and chickens, especially feeding them. Denis and Sophie are very welcoming and great hosts, we felt like we were visiting friends. Ascain is now one of our favorite small towns!

OK so there was some traffic noise but from inside the apartment you heard nothing and it really did not disturb. A lovely place and wonderful owners who couldnt do enough to make our stay perfect. Will definitely be going back. Thank you so much

En arrivant, tout semble conforme Ć  l'annonce qui semble-t-il avait Ć©tĆ© rĆ©digĆ©e pour prĆ©venir des Ć©ventuelles deceptions. Sauf que .... des dĆ©ceptions il y en a malgrĆ© tout, essentiellement dues Ć  l'attitude des propriĆ©taires et Ć  leur manque de savoir vivre. Des visites de futurs acquĆ©reurs de la maison, d'agents immobiliers (7 ou 8 personnes) sans dĆ©lai de prĆ©venance qui nous poussent Ć  sortir pour laisser libre les lieux : 4 fois en 3 semaines... ƀ la tondeuse que l'on passe sous notre nez, au moment de la sieste. Aux fenĆŖtres des chambres des propriĆ©taires qui donnent immĆ©diatement sur la terrasse "privative " ƀ une demande de nous garer Ć  100m de la maison alors que 3 places de parking sont disponibles au pied de la maison ƀ un abattage/Ć©lagage d'arbres trĆØs bruyant qui a gĆ©nĆ©rĆ© de la poussiĆØre et de la nuisance sonore sur plusieurs jours Bref, nous sommes partis aujourd'hui, avons payĆ© le mĆ©nage et le propriĆ©taire ose nous appeler pour nous dire que le mĆ©nage lui a pris plus de temps que prevu. Leur projet de vente les accapare totalement et leur fait oublier le bien bien-ĆŖtre de leurs "locataires" comme ils les appellent. Ils ne sont pas en mesure d'ĆŖtre de bons hĆ“tes Ć  l'heure actuelle

Logement conforme Ć  l'annonce, au calme. Les propriĆ©taires sont sympathiques. Dommage pour nous que le train de la Rhune soit en travaux, nous ne pouvons que revenir dans cette rĆ©gion. St Jean de Luz n'est pas loin, nous avons fait une belle balade en longeant la plage et en faisant les rues piĆ©tonnes. Ascain est trĆØs sympa aussi avec son pont romain. Je conseille vivement.
