After a long day of riding the amazing Dupont trails, settle in for a comfy evening in this beautiful and spacious one bedroom suite. It has a private entrance from a full-length porch, kitchenette, 1 full bath, and a fabulous wood beam ceiling in the Great Room! Enjoy the log cabin interior, as well as all the colored glass accents throughout the property that were created by local artist Rob Travis. All this, topped off with a gorgeous mountain view - right from the living room couch.
We are Dog Friendly with a $50/dog fee (see booking agreement for details). Unfortunately we cannot accept other types of pets at this time. If you plan to bring your pup, please be sure to select the appropriate Add-On before checking out on our website. (*AirBnb guests please contact us AFTER booking and we will do a price adjustment you will need to agree to for the fee. **VRBO guests please contact us AFTER booking so we can make PayPal or pay-on-arrival arrangements for the fee.)
Dupont Bike Retreat is located just 1/4 of a mile from the Fawn Lake trailhead at Dupont State Recreational Forest.

Great Destination for All Western North Carolina Adventure Seekers
We loved our stay at the Dupont Bike Retreat. The location was very convenient. Not too far from town, and very close to the Cedar Mountain village. Dupont State Forest is right outside your doorstep here. Suite 1 was beautiful, with breathtaking views out both sides of the house.
I look forward to staying here again soon!

Great Hosts!
The cabin was very nice and well kept.
Josh introduced himself and made sure we had everything we needed, and actually offered to bring a fire pit over to us so we could have a private fire. Exceptional service there!
Location was perfect for the biking we wanted to do. Unfortunately, we didn't have time/energy left to ride the trails Josh is building on the property.
100% Recommended to anyone interested in a nice, peaceful stay.

Wonderful experience!
Other than missing a turn or two we arrived much later than expected.
The cabin/lodge was beyond our expectations. Very clean and neat. We loved the jacuzzi and meeting and talking with Cathie.
We will be returning in a few weeks for another relaxing visit.

Waking up to that view!! Wow!
This place was beautiful. Inside and out. Its like a for real lincoln log cabin. It had a porch swing and yes, I drank my morning coffee and evening wine on that porch swing. I would not recommend trying to get to this property after dark. It was hard-doable but hard. Tod and Cathie are awesome and live on the property and are so nice. Very friendly atmosphere and just a cool vibe. Bring in some easy to heat groceries because getting off the mountain is not what you want to be doing after some awesome hiking to the nearby falls. Special thanks to Tod and Cathie for turning me on to the local coffee-I am currently looking for an on-line place to buy it. Both my daughter and I are hooked! Overall-great place, great people and if you like to hike or bike-book it!!!
