Nice mountain cabin
Beds were comfy, nice sitting room, heaters were appreciated on the chilly mornings. We like to cook and found the cooking supplies a bit lacking, but that is a personal preference. Glad we had stocked up with food supplies as it is a bit remote, but good access to Mt Rainier National park.

Great stay
This property is exactly as advertised, lovely and cost. Everything we needed for a stay hiking Mount Rainier. Comfy beds, good shower, enough kitchen stuff to make meals every day. All in all, great. Thank you.

Close to Mt. Rainier
The house was very close to Mt. Rainier, however, it was in an area of Ashford surrounded by many trailers and run down homes and the yard was subpar. Overall clean and comfortable but expected a nicer yard for kids to play in.

Great place to relax before and after Mt. Rainier adventures. Full washer and dryer were a plus given the rainy conditions of our hikes.

Just what we were looking for
This cabin was just what we were looking for. I was traveling with a friend and we wanted two separate sleeping spaces and bathrooms and a shared living area. We also wanted to be close to Mt. Rainier NP. This was all that. It was also a very quiet neighborhood and we felt safe. The cabin is a little beat up inside but nothing that a coat of paint wouldn’t fix. It’s clean and has everything you need. Ashford is a small town. We had three different restaurant options for dinner and all were good. We brought our own groceries and recommend this as there isn’t a regular grocery store close. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect place to stay for visiting Mt. Rainer National Park
Lovely place to stay for a few days. The bed was super comfortable for a big guy like me (250lbs), and the kitchen was well supplied for cooking small meals (groceries available in Ashford a few miles down the road, or Elbe a bit further). Note: this property is currently managed by Evolve, which apparently does not monitor their direct messages. There was only one washcloth and one dishwasher pod left, and was looking for more. Eventually, I found the guest binder with a contact phone number for the local host who apparently is contracted by Evolve.

Inside is clean but outside, specifically the back of the house is not. My kids were afraid to start a fire.

Greta spot for Mt Rainier NP
We stayed here for 3 nights in Early Sept 2023. The place is very close to the NP entrance near Paradise and an easy drive over to the Sunset area as well. The place was clean and comfortable. The only thing i thought was a miss is that the key box is by the back door of the house. That little piece of information was not in the check in instructions. Fortunately the neighbor saw us loking around and told us where it was. He said it happens every time. Not a huge deal but had he not been there it would i would have had to call the property manager. IOverall though an awesome spot for us!!

Great home and location
Perfect location for two couples or a small family if you are visiting Mount Rainier. Fresh and new home with open concept worked well for two adult couples. It is only a few miles from the Park entrance, so super convenient for visits to Mt. Rainier!

Great Property
I loved this house! It was cozy yet spacious and in a great location, only about 5 minutes or so into the town of Ashford. House was very clean, beds and pillows were very comfortable and it had everything we needed for our stay. One nice surprise was the ice packs in the freezer! We were able to pack our lunch in a cooler for when we were hiking and there was no need to buy ice. Overall a fantastic property and I would definitely stay again!

Very close to the mountain
We had great days in the house. We found all we need to stay 2 nights. The kitchen was very complete even with the essentials to prepare a complete meal. After a long day at the mountain, the jacuzzi was perfect to relax the muscles. The laundry also was a plus, since we are some days close to embark in a cruise, we didn’t have to pack extras for the mountain, we used the laundry and packed less. The only think I would suggest is to change the base of the bed in the downstairs bedroom. The current one is very uncomfortable if you move more to the center of the bed.

Perfect Base Camp for Exploring Mount Rainier
The cabin is a delight. Very nicely decorated, all amenities as described. The individual room electric heaters make it easy for everyone to be comfortable. We spent our days in the snow zone at the park; it was great to have the washer & dryer at the cabin to get ready for the next day. We'll look forward to returning when we can.

Mt. Rainer Getaway
Location was great and easy access to Mt. Rainer National Park. We misread the listing and didn't realize there was only one shower. Our trip was short so we were able to share the shower with the other couple that traveled with us and made it work. We were also surprised there was a hot tub because we did not see that listed. The place was clean and we enjoyed our stay.

Just the right size for three. Clean, nice amenities and well equipped kitchen. Our suggestion is to upgrade the couch - it is really hard to get out of. One more comfy chair would help a lot.

Property not cleaned at all
Unfortunately we arrived with the property not being cleaned at all by the cleaning person. We arrived at the property and had to do everything ourselves which according to their booklet in the cabin said that it would be clean due to Covid-19 protocol and it was not. We had to wash our own sheets, empty the dishwasher, washed our own towels and vacuumed the place as well. Obviously the bathrooms were not sanitized either. Very disappointing as I have never had to do this before and this was the first time that this has happened. During this pandemic you would have thought that they would have been more careful with having the cleaning person do their job. Cute place but after this issue I would not rent here again. I am sure that it was a one time mistake but during this time of year with a pandemic this should have been taken care of and not by my family and myself to attend to. Cheryl Rockafield
