At 620 meters above sea level in the heart of the Pyrenees, the Coste Male gite enjoys breathtaking views of the Montaigu peak. Its southern exposure, its sumptuous panorama of the surrounding countryside and its calm will enchant you.
This old sheepfold entirely renovated with respect for architecture and materials will welcome you for your holiday stays.
Comfortable cottage of 120 m² with its spacious bedrooms and its fenced plot of 1000 m² partly planted with a chestnut can accommodate up to 6 people.
We will be at your disposal to prepare your stay with us, to inform and advise you during your holidays.

Loved our stay in The Pyrenees
Modern, clean accommodation in old sheepfold. Lovely rural location ideal if you have a car (which we did). Spacious with a great kitchen for self catering. Owner was easy to deal with, friendly and helpful. Would return again.

Peaceful getaway
Lovely place, very well equipped, comfortable, rural, beautiful views. Fantastic outdoor kitchen. Communication with the owner was very good, they left us some lovely treats at the beginning of our stay. He knew a lot about the area and was quick to recommend activities. Take note that towels and linens are extras.

Very comfortable cottage in easy reach of Pyrenees and lots of interesting places to visit.
This property was nearly perfect for us - the only improvement would be for dogs to be allowed! The cottage was immaculate, and well supplied for cooking and eating. Theirry - the owner - gave us excellent advice on where to go and what to do, and was the other end of the phone if we had needed help. We really enjoyed the covered, outside barbeque area and grassy lawn where we lay on sun beds after hard days' walking in the Pyrenees. Just a word of advice if you to to this area to walk - try to get info on walks etc before you get to Astugue. We found it impossible to buy anything in English about walks in the Pyrenees or around the area - not a major problem but worth knowing. Despite this, we had a wonderful time at Astugue and hope to go back - there are so many things in the area that we didn't have time to do it all!

We all loved this beautiful country home. It was so lovely and peaceful, with amazing views.
This house is so beautifully designed and decorated. We were all so pleased to stay here. We were not far from many wonderful sites and the views from the house are peaceful and absolutely gorgeous. It was super clean and all was ready when we arrived. We appreciated the welcome cake that was on the table and Thierry was very helpful and kind to give us suggestions of places to visit. The book of ideas was also appreciated. Thanks so much for making our group of 4 generations feel so welcome and for all the memories.

Hote accueillant et conciliant. Logement agréable, propre et bien isolé. La cuisine est particulièrement bien équipée. Vue dégagée sur la montagne avec ensoleillement toute la journée sur le jardin. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille chez Thierry.

Séjour ressourçant dans un joli paysage de montagne.
Réveil avec le chant des oiseaux, biches dans le vallon, fleurs et papillons pour un séjour loin de la ville et ressourçant. La location offre le must d'une prise en charge comme à la maison et rien ne manque au quotidien Pour découvrir la région c'est aussi une situation idéale en voiture ou par les sentiers.

Super séjour dans un lieu superbe.
Bergerie tres bien équipée et confortable. Lieu magique au pied des Pyrénées a 600 m d'altitude. Nous avons apprécié la cheminée pour une petite flambée vu le temps de cette semaine. Proche de lourdes et Bagnères de bigorre. Ideal pour faire du vélo. Proprietaires tres sympathiques... On recommande. 👍😍

Leuke vakantie aan de voet van de Pyreneeën
Een week verbleven in een gezellig vakantiehuis. Het overdekt buitenterras met gasgrill en BBQ biedt een zeer mooi uitzicht op de heuvels. Het is er zeer rustig en stil. De woning was zeer net en de keuken is goed uitgerust. (Wel geen WiFi en binnenshuis ook vaak geen 4G). We hebben verschillende berg wandelingen (30 a 50 minuten rijden naar. Tourmalet, cautères, lac Payolle) wat ideaal was gezien de warme temperaturen in het dal.

Très belle Bergerie typique et moderne avec vue magnifique sur le Montaigu
Bel endroit à la campagne avec un panorama très sympa. Jolie demeure parfaitement rénovée, Complète et fonctionnelle. Accueil sympa des propriétaires avec produit locaux et une tourte maison délicieuse dont (presque) eux seuls ont le secret de la recette ;). Nous avons séjourné en hiver en famille et avons apprécié la parfaite isolation du logement et le poêle à bois qui réchauffe les soirées. Emplacement idéal pour visiter plusieurs vallées mais il faudra accepter de faire un peu de route pour skier. L’endroit nous donne envie de revenir en été pour profiter pleinement des transats et de la cuisine d’été. Nous recommandons à 100%

Magnifique maison, excellent séjour
Second séjour dans cette propriété (premier an août 2018). Nous avons de nouveau passé d'excellentes vacances dans cette magnifique bergerie fonctionnelle, bien équipée, joliment décorée, impeccablement entretenue (intérieur et jardin) avec vue panoramique sur le Montaigu. Idéale pour les familles cherchant le calme. Bien située entre Lourdes et Bagnères de Bigorre pour découvrir les cols d'Aspin, du Tourmalet, le Pic du Midi mais aussi Cauterets, Gavarnie. Propriétaires très sympathiques, accueillants et attentionnés. Merci à Thierry et Béatrice pour la tourte, le miel et la confiture. Nous reviendrons certainement. Je recommande très vivement cette location.
