We booked the king executive room. The upholstery on furniture is stained and tattered. Bathroom floors are sticky, desk and other hardwood areas are peeling, knicked. The air- conditioner cannot be used because it is screeching and a deafening pitch. The security lock is falling off the door frame, screws barely holding it on and each time I leave the room, the door card no longer works. No other room was available accirding to Sam, at the desk. No coffee or tea bags at the in-room bar and no tea bags available at the desk.until morning, according to Sam. If I wasnt so exhausted and it wasnt so late, I would demand a refund. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL. Do not be fooled by online pictures.

This La Quinta is the worst one we have ever stayed out. The building needs repair, furniture stained and soiled, lobby flooring lifting up, etc, etc. our room was dirty, the shower didn't operate cause the divertor valve is broken, big red and black stains on the carpet,no internet on the 4th floor and broken closet door mirror. On top, there was a big dead cockroach. Will be seeking a refund.

Reservation problems
Reservation was prepaid for our daughter. She provided copies of the confirmed reservation we received which showed she was at correct address and date. Hotel could not find reservation in their system & our daughter had to make a separate, on-spot reservation using her credit card. Our MasterCard shows a pending charge on the room for the original reservation. You need to cancel this charge as we do not intend to pay twice for the same room on the same date. Call or email me if you have additional questions. Colin Robinson 828-493-5017 mobile. PS Hotel front desk hung up on us at least nine times when my daughter & I called to resolve the situation. This is the first time we have attempted to book with La Quinta. Not a good start for future business!

Was disappointed in La Quinta quality. Disrepair everywhere. Not welcoming. Bad neighborhood also. While we were there a very nice SUV had drivers window broken. Breakfast was not deluxe. No decaf coffee. Instant oatmeal. Found a live bug in my room the first night. Shower water was hot but knob just spun around and around no off position. Lobby sparse grey unwelcome. Corporate should evaluate this. Not like any LQ I’ve ever stayed at.

The manager and some of the staff had great customer service. My room initially had a not so pleasant smell and the decor was old. The room was in much need of repair. After housekeeping thoroughly cleaned the room the next day, the room no longer had a smell. The air conditioner wasn't on in the room and I believe with no open windows and closed doors the air had become stale. The room needed some circulation. This was a great place to stay in case of emergency. The lobby of the hotel is nice and I did see the staff even clean the legs of the chairs and they constantly cleaned during the breakfast buffet. I also witnessed the staff cleaning the other rooms and they seemed to be doing a thorough job. The only elevator in the hotel wasn't clean or wiped down. I believe we were put in a room that they rarely used, but the mattress was very comfortable.

Definitely not safe at all. Cars were broken into during my check in at 9pm. Unable to enter property from back doors and had to walk in the dark to the front. Limited parking in the front. The whole place smelled like weed starting from the parking lot to my room. There were some very sketchy gentleman smoking weed in front of the property. Check in was extremely slow. The furniture in three lobby was torn. I found a ball of hair the floor of my room and the lamp shade was broken. In addition, my shower curtain was ripped in 4 places. Remote missing the back. I should have known this was not a good place to stay when I pulled up and the awning in front was broken. Do not stay here. You will not sleep thinking about thee chances your car may get broken into. I took several pictures to prove how horrible this place was.

I was greeted by the front desk (Sanil) he was courteous and helpful. As most of the restaurants around close by 10 pm I was there around 9:45 pm. He guided me to a good restaurant close by which was open till 11 pm it had limited menu but was good.

No restaurant bar within a 15 minute walk from the hotel. The airport shuttle pickup after 4 no answered calls was arranged through the reservations desk but after waiting an hour I contracted with Uber to take me to the hotel. The room was great, the morning breakfast was good The morning shuttle to the airport went well.
