I booked a king bed, accessible room due to my neuromuscular condition. When I checked in, I was given a double queen, regular room. I called down to the front desk to let them know, but they insisted my reservation was a double queen, regular room. I showed them my receipt from Expedia and he told me because I booked third party, there’s nothing he can do to change my room, even knowing my neuromuscular condition. I have this entire exchange on video with him saying his name.
I had the most difficult time showering and moving around this room and I felt I basically was punished for booking third party. He says it’s Expedia’s fault and he gets people who have the wrong room booked from Expedia all the time.
