While the location was stellar for the Convention Center - the year old property could use some basic design/amenity improvements. i.e., due to the fact that they are a “luxury hotel” they make the choice to NOT put garbage receptacles where needed (this is what we were told when we told them that doordash containers and trash were being stashed in the elevators and lobbies) The rooms had the tiniest trash cans I have seen and we had to call down to get a larger bag so that we wouldn’t have to add to the mess in the hallways. There were no hooks to hang coats or purses throughout the room - but there was a lovely artistic little alcove that was uselessly placed where a trash receptacle and coat hooks could have been. There was a refrigerator, but no microwave to reheat items. The shower doors were off kilter so that every time you tried to close them they banged into each other making a horrible jarring bang. The “entertainment system” (the television) offered local tv but you only had an option to sign on to your personal Netflix on the system - there was no screen share option and we could only connect with an HDMI cord not provided (we had to purchase). Toilet paper was VERY cheap 1-ply & the closets were painted black inside so it was impossible to see anything placed in there. There were workmen outside our window on scaffolding the ENTIRE time (6 days) we were there with ropes that were banging and dangling against the window. Improvements needed to receive 5 stars.
