Accommodations were excellent. Saw a great Tribute band Friday night at the Wave. Check-in lines were confusing. Several people cut in front of our line.

Sucker punched

There a bunch of hidden fees with the hotel. The first one is if your staying at the hotel they don’t tell you that tell you still have to pay for valet parking. Giving them a tip is understood. But if you staying at the you would think they would tell you. No sir. Also when we there we had to ask to have our room cleaned and also you have to asked for anything else. Staff is not willing to give you any insight on things to do. Most definitely not the best place for your money

Lets begin with the good. Staff was cordial, but blew off any issues we had with our room. Jitney bus was a convenient and affordable way to get around the area since most of our time was spent off property. That's about it for the good now for the bad. This property is in need of a complete overhaul, its outdated with very limited amenities. Casino is small in comparison to the others in the area. Our room (1708) was old with outdated furnishings with no modern conveniences like USB ports at the bedside and a television that the sound wouldn't sink up with the picture, annoying to say the least. Broken bedside light fixture and plumbing issues in the shower, but I certainly can't complain about the water pressure, but it's so noisy I felt bad for the people staying in the adjacent room, which was another issue, the walls are so thin it's impossible not to hear the guest's in the room nextdoor. Now for the real bad, my wife found what looked like a tick on the bathroom linens on our last night of our stay needless to say that was seriously a deal breaker. If we do ever decide to return to Atlantic City, Golden Nugget will not be our choice, but to be fair they did have signs stating that the property was in process of ongoing renovations, but during our 3 night stay we didn't see any ongoing construction. And if they do have renovated rooms I would suggest that it be requested at check-in. Guess the bottom line is you get what you pay for.

My stay was great. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Great view of the water and boats. Dinning was yummy. Quiet and peacful. Crowd was older so that was great. Kid friendly as well.

This was our 1st time staying here & we decided on Marina Suite for the weekend. It was nice and clean but the TVs didn’t work. We had them serviced the 1st and and they went out again the 2nd day. Would expect something like this from a lesser property. Disappointed

Cleanest hotel we've stayed at yet. We travel alot for competition cheer. This was by far number one in my book. The service was exceptional , friendly staff they went above and beyond. Responsible for price. The food was great. I already booked again for next year.
