I’ve stayed at worst places, but this one is in the top two. The only positive things that I can say about this place are that the bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked. Most of the electrical outlets in the room did not work had no power at all. The television got exactly 2 channels. The exhaust fan in the bathroom squealed look like a dying animal every time you turned on the bathroom light. I went to take a shower in the morning and the showerhead came off in my hand. I will not be staying at this facility ever again. I believe that burning it down would be a significant improvement to the overall community.

Room smelled bad. I could smell smoke from the room next to us. Room service never came to clean the room. WiFi was broken. Shower did not work well.

The property is not well maintained, there are weeds taking up the parking lot through the cracked asphalt. The air conditioning worked poorly and the toilet would barely flush. One day of our stay the card readers on multiple rooms had stopped working twice forcing guests to wait for a employee to let us in. One of these times we were trying to contact staff for over 30 minutes in order to let us back into our room. Despite the rooms being cheap I would highly suggest spending a few extra dollars a night on a nicer establishment.

Upon my arrival, they were very quick to get me into my room, which was awesome. When I got to the room, I took the shower curtain down from its storage position and it was filled with black mold so I assume that you should let the curtain dry before you hang it up, the other most important issue was that the carpet was so dirty that walking around my feet turned black on the carpet. It was absolutely disgusting.

Great Potential
I'd say this is a bit of a diamond in the rough. The room was clean and the bed was great. We only needed a place to sleep and spend 4 days at the beach. There is a lot of work to be done and most importantly is the rusty well water that comes out of the shower. Our room's shower was so bad they moved us to a room that was a bit better. The pool was also a victim of the well water and needed a good scrubbing of the walls. The place needs a good paint job and some upgrades although the ac units appear to be brand new.The free breakfast was nice also. Also the back of the motel is an absolutely beautiful wild meadow. It really has great potential. An outdoor shower would have been great and a place to rinse off beach stuff. Also a little laundry would be helpful. But it was very basic. But for the price in the midst of the season and only a few minutes to the beach it was perfect for us. We are campers and this was like indoor camping. If you are looking for the Ritz this isn't for you. But it was clean and the managers were friendly and accommodating.
