Holly Lake Trail Guest House - Near Rainey - Weekly Discount

This apartment is above our garage, detached from the main house where we live. The Lady Bird Lake hike & bike trail is directly in front of the house. You are welcome to borrow bikes, paddleboards, kayaks, and use the pool (if the main house is not rented). The main house tends to rent only weekends during the high season.
Open the blackout cellular shades to feel suspended among the trees and see countless species of birds, especially Monk parakeets. This studio makes excellent use of the space above our 2 car garage with an elegant bathroom, organic mattress, and butcher block counter tops.
It's tight for 3 or 4 people.
One block from Launderette restaurant and a quick stroll to the best East Austin restaurants, bars and breakfast tacos in all of Austin. Our neighborhood is a foodie's dream.

Great place to stay!
We loved this cute bungalow. Would definitely book it again if we return to Austin. Sarah includes all of the essential items plus there was tea and coffee for the morning. The location is close to downtown and was about a 10 min (if that) uber ride away. The neighborhood was quiet and would say trendy, and up and coming.

For our short stay to visit family in Austin, we found the perfect spot. It was so welcoming and perfectly set up with all of the essentials. Location right by Ladybird paths and very close to all of the best restaurants east of Austin--but truly close to everything! Love it and hope to return again. We had a great stay. The location was perfect for us with quick access to the bike trail and walking and riding distance to restaurants. Easy access to downtown. Many music venues. Sarah was easy to communicate with and kind enough to let us use a bike which came in super handy . We even got to see her sing at The Elephant Room - worth checking out!

Everything about this adorable loft is well thought out. From the private access and parking space, down to the smallest details in the kitchenette, Sarah goes to great lengths to ensure you have everything needed for a relaxing stay. We had an incredible stay at Holly Lake Trails in ATX. It was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekday getaway. We drove down from Midland Tx to see Olivia Rodrigo at the Moody Center. The location was great, and the host was wonderful. We can’t wait to come back!

What a gem!
The loft was so cute! Wonderful layout, super comfy, well thought out. It has a small kitchenette with a water dispenser (thank you!!). The bathroom was so adorable! I loved the sitting area with couch and coffee table. The bed was super comfortable. I wish I had this space when I was in college! I adored the color choices for the dishes too. It is also across the street from lady bird lake! You can walk on the trail right from the property so great location. Not one problem or issue.

Perfect little spot
We really enjoyed staying in Sarah's garage apartment in Austin! It was in a great neighborhood in East Austin -- right where we wanted to be. We were there during a freeze, but the heat in the apartment worked awesome! Sarah was so helpful while we stayed there. If you're renting a car I would choose a smaller SUV or a sedan. We had a large SUV and it was a bit tricky getting into the driveway. Also, if you're planning on cooking in the kitchen, the pans are on the smaller side (which makes sense because the stovetop is small, though accurately pictured in the listing) so we had to use them both when we wanted to cook. We would for sure stay in Sarah's place again when we go back to Austin! It was great!
