Under new management, this wonderful two-level villa offers spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean. Located in Hamilton Cove, this spacious town 2 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom townhome will take your breath away. Professionally decorated and acquainted with the finest comforts of the modern world this home is perfect for a luxury island getaway. The stunning view of the California coast during the day is topped perhaps only by the looking at the lights of southern California at night while listening to the crashing waves below.
As you enter the villa you will be immediately struck by the patterned wood floors and lovely woodwork including the doors. Large windows allow for an amazing view of the ocean and open to provide an ocean breeze. The kitchen is a chef’s paradise by the sea. It includes marble counter tops, stainless steel appliances and every you need to prepare just about any meal. You can choose to eat inside or on the balcony overlooking the ocean. The balcony has a table, seating and a bar-b-que should you choose to grill outdoors. The main level also includes a bedroom suite and complete bathroom.
Walk down the stairs to find master suite with exquisite ocean views. The California King bed will bring you great comfort under the luxury bedding. Likewise, you will no doubt enjoy the waterfall shower in the gorgeous master bath as well as the fine linen. Moreover, the master suite includes a private balcony from which to take in the one of a kind views from the Hamilton Cove Villas.
We understand, however, that you are likely going to want to take in all that Catalina has to offer. The rental comes with a six-passenger golf cart you can use to get to town or the Descanso Beach Club. Feel free to take advantage of the Hamilton Cove amenities including the pool, spa, health club, tennis and croquet courts as well as an 18-hole putting green. Hamilton Cove also provides outdoor tables and bar-b-ques and even a sand volleyball court.

We love Hamilton Cove. It was our second time staying here, we absolutely enjoy it there! We will always try and stay there when vacationing on the island!

Wonderful location!

Things we liked: Golf cart access, location on island, proximity to the pool/spa, views!!!, ease of check in, being able to take the golf cart at 1pm, views!!!, bbq, amenities in the common areas.Things to improve: More utensils, bowls, plates and glasses. Seemed like they were a mismash of random things. Fridge was broken but not communicated to us (there was a small fridge plugged in blocked walkway to kitchen). Only one key provided (clarified this with the management- they started to only provide one key because the other one kept accidentally being taken by people) The 2 middle seat Golf cart seatbelts were broken- no seatbelts in back row (sounded like management was not aware, offered to fix them during our stay but when we told them we were back and ready for repair, we heard nothing else from management for rest of trip despite multiple further inquiries).TV has just basic cable, no netflix capabilities. We were fine with the stairs but i heard alot of reviews talking about how they would of liked to have been warned that there were no elevators. No welcome book explaining procedures or giving advice for the island (only time ive rented a place on vrbo/air b n b that didn’t have one). No beach supplies, kids games, books/magazines what so ever- again- every place we’ve stayed at in the past has provided these. Overall tho, a GORGEOUS place to stay!

Hamilton Cove

Great location. Be willing and able to do lots of stairs as it is on a hillside. Golf cart was a great addition. Property seemed to have been hurriedly cleaned and the fridge didn’t work. We were given a mini fridge instead which wasn’t great for groceries for our family of four. Overall we loved the location but unit could use updating and a deep cleaning.

Perfect for a getaway!

Had a fantastic experience! Photos truly represent the actual space. The included golf cart really made the decision that much easier. We were able to explore the island fully because of it. Accessing was very easy and when we needed some help with lock they were very responsive and stayed on the phone with us until the issue was resolved (user error). Great view of the ocean and the sound of the surf lulled us to sleep. It doesn’t state in the listing, but there is a washer/dryer right outside of the unit. I highly recommend and would definitely rent the SAME unit.

Generally good stay. Only two problems that should be noted. 1.)The gas tank in the golf cart was less than half full. We filled it for you though at the end of the trip. 2.) The main key for the front door of the accommodation does not work. The back up key works fine though.

Nice location, beautiful views but problems with the golf cart were told could drop our bags and pick up the golf cart before check in as stated in the listing. Multiple calls to management did not get the golf car till after 530 hours after check in because in for repairs? Lots of money spent on taxis. Linens and some furniture in needs of replacing. Somewhat disappointed.

Hamilton Cove is the BEST

quick trip to Catalina, my wife and I; got great deal at Hamilton Cove; view not a good as last time, but still very nice. Want to get one next time a bit lower, and nothing blocking our view. Loved the Bison Tour, and the ZIP LINE

Great family vacation

This is our second time staying at this unit and it did not disappoint. Appreciate the ease of access and the golf cart available to use. Only a few minor repairs are needed to the unit and some of the towels/linens should be replaced due to stains. However, this in no way would deter me and my family from staying here again.

The location was amazing but the house was full of broken mirrors, broken and gummed together counter tops, patches in the wall left unpainted. The windows didn't have screens so we left the windows open since it was so hot and we attached by miskitos.

We enjoyed our stay! The stairs are not really that bad and you are really close to the pool. Could not get a hold of the host by message, so make sure you get any questions answered before. Towels and beach towels are provided. Utensils and seems like they added plenty of wine glasses now. Would recommend

Seriously a great view

Definitely a great view! Your able to ride around town with the cart that comes with it. No Netflix, no good channels to do a movie night in December. Needs a deep clean. We found a mask under the bed and spider cobs around the home. Love how they have extra blankets everywhere. Will still come back :)

We really enjoyed our stay. Id say the only issue we had wqs how the shower curtins in both bathrooms would not reach the tub. Therefore every shower consisted of tons of water being sprayed all over the toilet and the floor. Made for a mess daily. The write ahould also include how many steps it takes to get to the unit. I imagine a heart patient would have serious trouble climbing so many steps.

We have always enjoyed staying at Hailton cove, thank you for making our stay comfortable for our family. We want to mention the golf cart has some loose wires. We were stranded for a couple of hours in town with Chela, waiting for the mechanic, luckily my husband was able to figure it out but we still lost 2-hrs of adventure time so we wanted you to know.

80th Birthday on Catalina

I took my parents to Catalina for my father's 80th birthday. I decided to stay in Hamilton Cove because of the amenities; golf cart, 18 hole putting course, private cove. We had a great trip despite getting off to a rough start. I was filling out paperwork the day of our trip as I had not received it prior. I knew that the condos in Hamilton Cove had stairs but over 50 steps to get to our unit was a little much. We couldn't get into the unit because they use some weird lock there where you have to turn it one way then the other and hold it. There isn't cell reception in the cove so had to head up the hill to call and get the trick for the lock. The gate guard didn't have our information, so we had to wait until we were able to get ahold of our agent and get that all straightened out. But after all that was done, we really had a magical time. Catalina is a special place and Hamilton Cove is a very beautiful and quiet place to stay.

The place was great the views were beautiful great to be across from pool but we had a very difficult time opening the front door. We started to leave it slightly open. It took us 6 min to get in we started to get nervous because it was 8pm. Please do something about the lock at front door

Condo with an amazing view

This condo was clean and cozy. My wife really liked the decor and lay out of the condo. We also had a great view of the ocean. The golf cart that was provided was much needed to get to downtown and overall we really enjoyed our stay here. The only issue we had was with the front door and getting it open but we immediately contacted Chela and she helped us figure it out.

Great Place to stay

This is the third stay at Hamilton Cove for our family. This condo was perfect for four adults. Comfy beds, clean and absolutely beautiful views as are all at Hamilton Cove. There are quite a few steps to the condo, so you will get a little workout, but hey, you have your own golf cart so you save a lot of steps walking around town to get up the stairs :) Check in was great and they always take good care of us.

Great home with an amazing view

Only reason it’s 4 stars is, there was tons of coffee filters but no coffee. There were a few things broken in the home and on the golf cart. Also sauna wasn’t working In the community gym. Home was clean and plenty of towels. But all and all it’s what I thought it would be. Manager was helpful and responded quickly. **Be sure to read every detail on the community rules. **
