This property is ideally located being an hour by train from Porto. The staff were helpful giving advice on restaurants and making bookings. There are in my opinion a number of excellent dining options within a very short walk of the hotel. Happily recommend this property.

I would recommend this hotel. Beautiful and charming. Cathia at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. They had a beautiful breakfast buffet. Although the room was a little small, I would definitely go back. The location was perfect near a lot of restaurants.

There is massive construction all around the hotel. Jack hammers Cranes. Lots of noise. The hotel is not accessible by car. Imagine our surprise to arrive at what we thought would be a perfect canal side hotel. We received no notification of the construction and refused to stay on a holiday at this hotel. The hotel refused a refund. Totally unacceptable. Do not stay here. We easily found an alternative, though we paid twice because the hotel was not honorable. We do not recommend the hotel.
