Although we were only at Garlande for one night, it was a delight to stay in such an attractive historical hotel. Emmanuelle was a very welcoming host and saw to all our needs promptly. She provided a local map and recommended some nearby restaurants. She also provided a wonderful breakfast taking care to inquire about any food preferences. We would definitely stay there again.

The hotel location is excellent in the center of the city within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. Cars are not allowed in the area so if you're driving the closest parking garage is about 10-15 minute walk to hotel. The hotel does not have an elevator, if your room is on the 3rd floor you can ask for assistance with your bags or request a room on the 1st floor. Emmanuelle the owner was very helpful with restaurant recommendations. Had a lovely stay at the Garland.

Loved this fabulous stay in Avignon most comfortable bed loved the spiral staircase felt very much in the center of beautiful walled city. Stephan was most informative and made many great suggestions and recommendations. Enjoyed breakfast and yummy home made cakes to be recommended. Will come back again…..

I loved this hotel, right in the middle of the walled city of Avignon. It couldn’t have been more conveniently located for walking the city. The proprietor also couldn’t have been more helpful and courteous. The building and rooms are quaint. The room was bigger than I thought it would be, considering. Breakfast was very good.

Spacious and modern 2-bed apartment annex
Stayed in the 2-bed apartment, and it was perfect! Very spacious and modern accommodation. I appreciated the separation of the toilet and the shower in separate rooms -- helpful when more than 1 person is staying in a room. Nice kitchen if you want to have an easy meal inside. Great location! And I loved the patio area to sit outside. I only wish I could have seen the rest of the hotel as the photos look very inviting!

This property was great. It is centrally located. You could walk here from the train station in about 20 minutes. Many restaurants and attractions are close. This was an amazing stay and the hotel staff was amazing and very helpful. I would absolutely recommend this hotel. Just to note that the staircase to the upper floors is a spiral staircase and a bit difficult to climb with big suitcases.
