Cute hotel in a great location. It was lovely to wander the streets in the area. Staff were always friendly and the daily room cleaning superb (especially considering our stuff was spread all over the place. 😀)

Location was great, very close to the old town. The only thing is that we thought the property comes with parking as it shown in the picture, but after we spend 5 minutes drive into the town and arrived at the hotel, we were told that only available parking was the underground parking palais des papes which the entrances is another 5 minutes driving outside the town. Good thing is that the hotel offers discount and we left our luggage at the front desk while we went for parking. Other than that I was very satisfied by the room condition, it’s very clean and has everything we needed,nexceed my expectation for a 2 star hotel.

The hotel is dishonest and cheats it's customers. It's air conditioning broke down but they did not inform me beforehand or even when I was checking in. I only found out after got to the room. I checked out immediately after asking for a refund. I was told to ask Expedia. To date, neither the hotel nor Expedia has agreed to give me a refund despite failing to provide for air conditioning as promised (it was warm as the sun cooks up the room in the day). I did not even stay past an hour and the hotel has eaten up my money for three days worth! If they had informed me beforehand that the aircon was down, I could have cancelled for free. The hotel is now lying hat they turned down the aircon to comply with some energy saving nonsense rule. They are also deleting my posts. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS DISHONEST BUSINESS UNLESS YOU WANT TO END UP LIKE ME! Wish me luck in getting my money back!

Much to my surprise this hotel is a great option if you are staying in Avignon and want to be in the center of the city. Just don't eat at any of the touristy restaurants, there are lots of great places in Avignon and the hotel can give you "Bonne Address". Staff is very nice, place is very clean and the breakfast was good for the price. overall great value

Central Hotel in Avignon
Overall the hotel was situated in the heart of Avignon. The room was very spacious and clean. The staff was extremely helpful. It would have been nice if my hotel room would have had some more natural light because it was facing a small courtyard.

Brilliant situation. Wonderful reception staff. Double glazed windows keep the outside noise out. Walks of the rooms however don’t do the same and we had very noisy neighbors from midnight to 1.30 am clonking around.

Fantastic Location and Super-Helpful Staff
This hotel is not particularly impressive from the outside but once one enters the small interior, the warmth of the staff and cleanliness of the facilities forces a recalibration of the first impression. Our room was quite small but who goes to Avignon to stay in a hotel room? The location puts all the major tourist and cultural attractions within a few minutes walk yet “noise” was never a problem. Staff uniformly went well beyond what was needed. The savings on the room price allowed us to splurge on a fancier meal and other experiences. We’d certainly return.

Fabulous location! Walk straight out of train station for about 15 min & on the main square. Staff were very nice. Room was spotless! Bathroom was Perfect! All was newly renovated(?) I would stay again! Only negative: no lobby if you want to lounge. They DO have a luggage hold room & a breakfast room with terrace off of it. We stayed 1 nt but could be good for 3 nts as well. We have stayed at the mercure right past here next to the popes’ palace for 3 nts a few years ago & this was better!!

Good Hotel, Jan = Bad Time to Travel to Avignon
We enjoyed the hotel and being on the main plaza of the old town. The hotel itself was located conveniently to loads of museums and churches and the like. The hotel’s breakfast was a little underwhelming generally speaking - no real protein / meat options except bacon, coffee machine could have used some instructions on how to use it. Tried 3 ways the first morning before figuring it out, mostly because I hadn’t seen coffee pods like that before. Hotel bathroom was nice, bed was comfortable. Clean all the way around. The big issue was that we travelled in January. We only stayed 2 of our 4 scheduled nights, moving to Paris 2 days early. So much of the city and museums and churches was just closed or had limited accessibility, probably because we were traveling out of season. I don’t blame anyone or anything for this, it just made it hard. Also, it was excessively windy in Avignon - none of the research we did beforehand indicated that the Mistral - the north wind - was so rough. We had one day that was 45F / 7C but with 24mph winds. It was NOT fun. The next day was similar temp but 18mph winds and it was better but not by a whole lot.

Happy in Avignon.
Very nice hotel with elevator. Breakfast was good. Yummy pastries. Was hard to get in for late checkin. Attendant was probably on break. Can’t get in door to reception unless someone is at desk. Location is in excellent. Only complaint is that our shower drain was backing up. Slow draining. Did not complain because only stayed one night. Got a room overlooking the square. That was nice

I was given a room without a view, actually facing a wall. The room was quite small. And there was no water available in thew room that was free and there was no amenity to have free access to drinkable water in the hotel
