Caribbean Sunset is a spacious three bedroom, three bathroom home with located directly on the Gulf of Mexico. Enjoy beautiful gulf views the minute you walk in the door of this ground level home or just enjoy the view while relaxing in the living/dining area and the master bedroom. There are 3 large king bedrooms (one converts to 2 twins) and three baths. The laundry room provides extra storage and the kitchen is well equipped. The living/dining areas and master bedroom open out to a large covered veranda offering spectacular views plus the relaxing sound of the palms and the lazy splashing of the ocean against the shore. Caribbean Sunset lives up to its name with exceptional sunset views - beautiful photo opportunities every day. The dock is a perfect spot to fish and you may want to rent a boat to keep at your dock. There is shoreline or dock access for snorkeling, swimming, and kayaking. From this location at Mile Marker 50 in the middle of the Keys you can drive about an hour up the Keys to Key Largo and about an hour down the Keys to Key West. Piece of paradise
This is the most beautiful place we have ever stayed in in the Florida Keys. The view cannot be beat and you can snorkel right off the dock and see parrot fish, stingrays and crabs … also saw a shark!! The home was beautiful and clean and had everything needed!! One of the biggest and most beautiful pools in the keys! Mary was fantastic and so prompt with any questions or issues. This will be our new home away from home each time we come to the Keys!!

First time sibling getaway without kids. The home was as described on the website. The three king beds were very comfy. The gulf views were to die for. Having a dock was also very convenient for our boating excursions. The home is located in a quiet subdivision and near many shops, grocers, and restaurants. We would definitly stay here again!

Great Views, Great Sunsets
Great location right on the Gulf. Rental was clean, comfortable, had a well stocked kitchen, and plenty of towels for the 6 of us. Water access into the Gulf very convenient especially if kayaking or snorkeling. If fishing is your thing, the dock makes that convenient. We made good use of the pool also.

Marathon Getaway
We had perfect weather. Due to the weather gods on the first day, our little cove area was not able to be swam in that week, but it was beautiful all the same. The swimming pool had a few issues but Mary was a saint and got it repaired immediately. You will need to rent kayaks if you are interested in that and there is not a ladder to use to get out of the water on the dock. The ramp is tricky. The kitchen has everything you will need for food prep. Mary is the absolute best with communication. Lots to do on Marathon or just chilln at the house and cookin on the grill. Key West is an hour away. Enjoy!

Great place to stay!!
My husband, daughter , grandson and I had a wonderful week at Caribbean Sunset. My 14 year old grandson was able to fish to his hearts content off the dock. We snorkeled around the dock and was able to see an abundance of fish. We even got to see a pod of manatees swim by the dock. Also we all enjoyed the pool and hot tub! Loved the house and the neighborhood was very pleasant and safe. We plan on coming back to stay again!

Relax and refresh in paradise!
We enjoyed our vacation every hour we were there! The house is perfect for 3 couples. We are all in our 50’s and had enough privacy for everyone. The house is close to everything. The pool was such a wonderful treat and we used it almost every day. If they advise you to get the heat, do it! The water was wonderful! This is a gem in Marathon if you are fortunate enough to find an open week! Mary left us a sweet treat in the fridge and we LOVED it! Many great memories with friends that we will cherish! Fishing off the dock…yes! Can’t thank Mary enough for a beautiful place!

Fabulous “sea”nery !
Check in was super easy. Mary was very helpful before during and after our stay. We saw an abundance of wildlife. Five manatees including two pups, various stingrays of sizes and breeds. Various tropical fish. An moray Eel, five foot or so Tarpon. Barracuda. Location was perfect to go to upper or lower keys in just a short trip. House was clean, beds are super comfy. Pool was great. And the SUNSETS to die for EVERY night! Would recommend to anyone and would stay again.

Spectacularly relaxing
A perfect vacation home! The bedrooms were large with a bathroom for each one. The heated pool and hot tub were in constant use. The home was in an older neighborhood with mature palms and landscaping. The sunsets were absolutely spectacular! The house is older and a few furnishings dated, but it was very clean and everything was in working order. Will definitely try to book it again.

Great location!
Came to Marathon for spring break with the family. The house has a great layout, but we spent the majority of our time using the outdoor space. The pool, hot tub, and dock were great for our teenage boys. They caught fish off the dock and even saw manatee and sting rays. Mary was excellent to work with. Would rent here again!

Pool, back porch and dock were wonderful. It was so great to relax morning and night staring off into the gulf horizon. Loved the pool but if it is October, might want to splurge for heating it. Outdoor spaces were wonderful. 2 separate large tables outside made for sun or shady needs. Kitchen was small and water pressure in 2 bathrooms were very light but we all had a great time and loved it!!

You can go back home!
My wife and I met in Miami in 1981 and then she moved to Marathon with me in Sep 81, where we lived for 3 years. We had never taken our kids to the place that it started for our family so we figured it was about time. This house was perfect for our vacation. We rented a boat for the week so the dock was a must. We even caught some fish at the dock and saw a small shark swim by. The pool was great when our crew tired of swimming in the ocean, and the house was as perfect as you can get for our 6 person crew. If you come to Marathon, make sure to take some day trips around the area. We did Key West for two evenings and even went over to the Dry Tortugas for a day. All in all, the family had a vacation that we'll talk about for years.
