Peace and quiet remote get away
My friend and I were there to tour the Glacier National Park area. This is a rustic remote (not too remote) cabin just outside of the east side of Glacier National Park. It is a bunk house with seperate shower house over looking a peaceful valley away from everything. We enjoyed the stay and amenities (including the Alpacas) and would gladly stay there again.

Gem of a stay
My daughter and I enjoyed our stay at the bunkhouse thoroughly! It was rustic and secluded, and the perfect place to get some rest after a long day hiking. Larry and Debra were quick to respond if the need arose. Loved the cows, alpacas and Major the dog! We had internet during our entire stay (ATT) which was a welcome surprise. Several tasty food options in the area as the bunkhouse has a basic frig-freezer, coffee pot and microwave. Had a wonderful time at the bunkhouse and at Glacier National Park. We preferred to be on the east side of the park as it was closer to the trails we wanted to hike such as Many Glacier and the high line.

Property was far out in the country and very peaceful and quiet, but very close to Many Glacier. Bathhouse was very cute, but make sure you are OK with a detached bathroom! Also know that the only running water is in the bathhouse. (There is a water dispenser in the cabin for drinking water and making coffee.) We were prepared for this and enjoyed the little bit of rustic charm. We loved sitting on the porch in the very comfy rockers after a day of hiking. And loved watching the alpacas!

Nice country quiet feel. Inside of bunkhouse got really hot during day when gone, and back gs like moths seamed to come inside both the bunkhouse and bathroom at night.

Exactly as described. Remote and quiet. Quirky and unique. The rocking chairs on the porch were perfect for enjoying the sweeping hill and mountain view. Great for those who want a rustic upgraded camping experience. One of the highlights of our trip.

Lovely Cabin Rustic and Isolated
The owners are great! The cabin is exactly as advertised. Very, very quiet and great if you really want to get away from everyone!. The cabin was very hot inside when we got there, but it did cool down enough to sleep later on. There is a ceiling fan and a table fan provided, but if you don't like the heat this isn't the place to stay. The flowers everywhere were a special treat. I enjoyed watching a beautiful Rufus hummingbird in the evening before sundown! I would stay here again!

Great location 4 miles from Babb away from the crowds. Convenient to Many Glacier and St Mary if you don't mind a short 20 min drive. Limited restaurants but we ate at Cattle Barron 3 nights and Many Glacier Lodge 1 night. Good communication with property manager and we were greeted upon arrival.

Perfect location if visiting Glacier National Park
We completely enjoyed our stay! It was quiet and private. Completely as advertised. We were welcomed by the resident curious cows. We could see the alpacas from our porch. The private bathhouse is just a few steps down the walkway and is spacious. Debra, the property manager, was quick to please. We had been told there was a blowdryer in the bathhouse. There was not. She loaned me her personal one for the duration of our stay! It is rustic, but delightful. We would stay here again if we return to the area!!!

Moth infestation
The location is north Babb, but not a long drive to Glacier because of the highway. The outside is nicely decorated and check in and parking were easy. It was very hot inside during the summer day which is understandable, but don’t expect to relax there until evening when it cools down. There were a ton of moths in the home and bath house and something is living in the walls scratching around which kept us awake. It’s not pleasant to walk into the bathroom and turn the light on and 25 moths start flying around frantically.

Great place
The Chaps and Spurs home was so cute. It was really little, but slept three comfortably, had all appropriate amenities (TV, hotspot, fridge/freezer, microwave). The bathroom in the building next door was large and clean and so cutely decorated. The cows were chill and goofy, the alpacas were adorable and oblivious, and we even saw a bear on the property (so cool!). Really really liked this stay.

Amazing place if hiking in Many Glacier!!!
Very charming place. Super quiet and relaxing property. Short 20 min drive to all the trails in Many Glacier. Clean bathroom and hot shower which is super important after lots of miles hiking. We loved everything about this place especially sitting on the porch just listening to birds and watching the cows and alpacas. Star gazing at 1am was amazing. Will definitely recommend to anyone coming to visit the east side of Glacier National Park. 5 stars all the way!!

Wonderful location minimal craftsmanship
Several safety issues exist on site. Uneven steps not conforming to standard codes in other states, Large gap in screan on one window that can open (fly swapper provided) No hand rail on outhouse bldg to negotiate 2 steps which were correctly built. Having cleaning water in outhouse and not near minimal kitchen was a hassle. Great wildlife observing and fun watching alpacas!

Nice, cozy, budget friendly stay
The bunk room served as a great temporary home on our trip to Glacier National Park. It is a short distance to the park and the dining options in Babb. You can tell they’ve put a lot of effort into making the place homely, and we appreciated things such as coffee, WiFi, complimentary bear spray, water, hiking books, the refrigerator, and shampoo and body wash. The wind can make the place a little spooky at night, but we were used to it after a couple of days. A few small improvements I’d recommend include a bug zapper in the bathroom as there are a good amount of flies, a slow-close door hinge for the screen door since it bangs pretty good, and a desk lamp since the only light in the room is from the fan. Also, a little table on the patio between chairs would be great to enjoy morning coffee. Thanks for a great visit!

Spare, but everything you need
Very quiet, lots of stars on a clear night. The bunk beds are not especially sturdy, at least not for an old lady climbing up and down to the top. We took the mattress off the top bunk and put it on the floor for sleeping. In the morning, we put it up against the wall like a Murphy bed--worked fine! Even though you have a few steps to the bathroom, it was well-equipped. No AC in the cabin, but the air is cool at night, even in August, so no issues there. I do wish there was at least another window with a screen, so there could be more cross-ventilation. Loved the quiet though, and the llamas and alpacas grazing nearby! Pretty easy drive to Glacier NP, and definitely not much traffic nearby. Probably wouldn't be fun to walk to the bathroom in the middle of the night if there was a big rainstorm or it was freezing cold, but we had no issues--being 3 mid-60 year old women, we absolutely did go back and forth during the middle of the night!

Short and sweet
This property was exactly as advertised. We got in very late our first night due to a critical road closure on the Going to the Sun road and requiring us to detour back around the southern boundary of the park. The onsite caretakers were nice enough to unlock the place, leave the keys inside and light on. Painless checkin. Very rural setting with excellent views. We were aware of no cooking capability (only microwave in bunkhouse) and planned accordingly. We spent minimal time onsite as we were touring the park. The adjacent bathroom was modern and contained all necessary items. Both bunkhouse and bathroom contained small heaters which we used as it got chilly even in August. Would not hesitate to return and stay here

Loved the rustic/farm lands of this property. The owners were very easy to get ahold of when we got to the area a little early and answered all of our questions. My husband and I stayed on the west side of the park and were very happy to find a place on the east side. Only downfall was we didnt know the cooking accommodations and the name of which rental we had. Also the bathroom (shower, sink and toilet) was in a completely different building. Which I didnt mind other than being 5 months pregnant... if you know what I mean. Overall a great place!
