The Paradis
Bacalar is just a big wow. The service at the Hotel was very friendly and helpfull. The hotel looks like it was renovated but it's missing a little fridge in the room, place to relax (no pool, no relaxing area with chairs and table) so it's impossible to relax at the hotel. Hotel was closed to almost everything.

Excellent value and location
For the price (55 usd in 2024) this was excellent value. Excellent location and very clean. The sheets appeared stained with some kind of oil- but they were clean. I complained thinking they were dirty, and staff went above and beyond. I was invited to look at the available rooms and pick a new room. Floors and bathroom were all impeccably clean. I was just being demanding. I speak Spanish so had no problem with the kind staff but I think some do not speak English. Rooftop is not finished yet but when it is, they will have an amazing view of the lake.

Location was excellent. It's right on the edge of the town center so it's very walkable around there. The room was very clean.. The rooms and hotel are very basic. Only one old couch in the lobby. The room had one little table. The is a shared refrigerator is on the roof of the hotel.. The staff is great, very warm and welcoming

Familjärt boende mitt i centrum
Trevligt familjeägt hotell med toppenläge en gata från vattnet. Centrum med marknader, restauranger och all tänkbar service ligger precis utanför dörren. Vårt dubbelrum var rymligt och rent. Familjen som äger och driver hotellet är supertrevliga och hjälpsamma på alla sätt. Allt gott
