An sich ein schönes Hotel mit prinzipiell guter Lage direkt an der Elbe, wenn nicht direkt zwischen Fluss und Hotel/Hotelterrasse ein Riesenparkplatz läge. Gleiches gilt für die andere Seite des Hotels, wo auch der Haupteingang ist, d.h. Autos direkt vorm Eingang. Das wäre noch erträglich, wenn nicht die gegenüberliegende Straßenseite so überaus hässlich wäre, was “Architektur” und Gebäudefassaden anbetrifft. Ansonsten aber alles prima

Das Hotel liegt gut. Zum Bausbahnhof und auch zur Fähre / Schiffsanlegestelle jeweils nur 5 Minuten Fußweg. Zimmer leider sehr klein, für länger als 2-3 Nächte und 2 Personen eigentlich nicht geeignet.

Dejligt sted, men kedelig morgenbord
Bad Schandau er et superfint sted til en ferie. Specielt hvis man ønsker at vandre, så er det et superområde. Mht. hotellet, så er det for så vidt OK uden at være prangende. Men det passer vel også OK til 3 stjerner. Absolut rent og pænt. Morgenbordet er lidt kedelig i forhold til normal tysk standard. F.eks. mangler der der bacon ell. pølser. Der er kun blødkogte æg og røræg. Lidt valgmuligheder af yoghurt kunne også af hjulpet lidt (valget var peach melba ell. naturel smag). Dette er bare eksempler på hvad der manglede i forhold til vores forventninger.

Gezellig hotel met vriendelijk personeel op een prachtige plek. Ik had de laatste beschikbare kamer met uitzicht op de Elbe en dat was echt fantastisch! Hoewel ik de kamer erg lastminute geboekt had (één uur voor aankomst) en deze (uiteraard) nog niet klaar was toen ik om 11.00 uur al ter plaatse was, mocht ik mijn auto al wel op het terrein parkeren. Zodoende kon ik toch al onbezorgd de dag en het leuke plaatsje Bad Schandau genieten. De kamer zelf was typisch Duits: gemütlich met houten meubels en van alle gemakken (zithoekje, bureau, grote badkamer met ligbad!) voorzien. Het ontbijt was heerlijk uitgebreid en bij het uitchecken wist de receptioniste nog wie ik was van de vorige dag en noemde me meteen bij naam; heerlijk dat zoiets nog gebeurt! Ik kom graag nog eens terug hier, maar dan meerdere dagen, want alleen de tramrit naar de Lichtenhainer Wasserfall is al meer dan de moeite waard!

Schönes Hotel mit super Lage
Das Hotel ist komfortabel und hat eine gute Lage. Es liegt direkt an der Elbe und in der nähe des Hotels fahren direkt die Busse bzw die Boote ab mit denen man überall in die sächsische Schweiz kommt. Der Personenaufzug ist in ein paar Minuten zu Fuss zu erreichen und es gibt auch diverse Lokale die sehr gut und zu Fuss zu erreichen sind.

Das Hotel liegt schön direkt an der Elbe. Die Zimmer sind in Ordnung und die Ausstattung gut. Leider war das Zimmer nicht sauber. Die Fensterbänke waren dreckig (tote Fliegen) und in den Ecken gab es Spinnenweben. Eine Klimaanlage gab es nicht, es war sehr heiß. Das Frühstück war für ein 4-Sterne Hotel auch nicht angemessen, kaum frisches Obst oder gesunde Alternativen zu Brot. Abends haben wir als Hotelgäste keinen Tisch reservieren können, da es ausgebucht war. Leider waren durchgängig Tische frei, sehr schade.
