Perfect Getaway For Large Families
Great cabin in close proximity to several distilleries. Communication with the owner was excellent. She answered all our questions very quickly. The cabin was clean and decorated for Christmas, which our family loved. We enjoyed the trails and my son found that their pond does have 5lb largemouth bass. Know that if you go with multiple families or large groups, you'll most likely be sharing some bedrooms. We were aware of this ahead of time and didn't bother us. Only thing keeping the cabin from 5 stars is lack of grocery storage. The cabin only has 1 fridge and has no pantry, so majority of our food and drinks had to be kept on the counter tops or kitchen floor (or outside to stay cold). The cabinets were stocked with all the dishes and cookware you need, but left no room for food storage. A beverage fridge in the basement would have been a big plus. But it did not stop us from enjoying the place. We had a great Thanksgiving week with lots of laughs, walks, and pool and foosball tournaments!

Wonderful Getaway for Our Group
There was a group of 12 Ladies from the Class of 1967 High School. We get together every Fall and have for several years. This location was great for us. We did have a small problem with the bridge being out and had to detour to get there, but once there everything was great. Plenty of room for parking and playing games. Thanks for the stay and we will surely look to stay here again..

Stayed here for our annual trip to The Bourbon Trail. Had a great time. Easy check in. Great house except for all the lady bugs and extremely colder in the downstairs area. Host was easy to communicate with and very responsive. Lots vm of room. Great for large parties. There were eight older adults on this trip!

Bourbon Trail adventure
A group of four of us stayed at the property as our home base for visiting distilleries in the area. While the property location is isolated, we were still near enough to everyplace we wanted to visit that it was never inconvenient. As a matter of fact, the location of the property was one of its best features. The surroundings are beautiful and everything was so quiet and peaceful. The house is immaculate, well maintained, and has every amenity you could wish. We spent our evenings around the fire pit sipping bourbon and gazing at the stars. There was PLENTY of room for the four of us and then some. I highly recommend this property.

4 days of us stayed for 4 nights and used the “Cabin” as a home base for a 50th birthday Kentucky tour. Visited Whiskey Thief, Buffalo Trace, Regeneration, Barrel House and Southern Kentucky all within driving distance. Amazing property-don’t expect to grill
Me and my friends thoroughly enjoyed our time at this cabin. It is in a very central location to a ton of distilleries. The property managers were very responsive and issues came up with booking but we were able to get it worked out. The place was very clean and had plenty of towels/supplies. The only negative thing and the reasoning for the 4 stars is that of the 8 burners between the two grills for use, only 2-3 were actually functional. We had to alter most of our meals we were planning to cook for the long weekend and consumed a lot of more time than expected.

Great Stay!
We traveled to Chandler Ridge with our kids and grandkids to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We had 17 all together and had plenty of room and beds. Everything was as described. We were very pleased.

Great property and had a wonderful time. Only problem we had was the large gas grill needed cleaning. When we used it, it caught fire because of all the grease buildup below grate. We had to shut it down.

The house was clean and centrally located for all of our planned activities. There was plenty of space and beds got a group of 9. There were tons of activities to do at the house. The one downside was the loft area was a little hot for sleeping.

We had gathered friends and family from around the country to play some golf and attend the PGA Championship at Valhalla. The cabin was everything Mary said it was. It was clean and had enough beds and space for our party of 12. It was quiet, had plenty of pots, pans and glasses. Everything worked. The pool table was great.
