This attractive detached holiday cottage, part of which dates back to the 1700s sits high above the popular market town of Bakewell in heart of the Peak Park. Just 0.5 miles from the town centre, on the steep road to Monyash, the cottage boasts a split level garden. Just a short drive to beautiful Dovedale, Monsal Head, Lathkill Dale, Chatsworth and Haddon Hall. Wonderful walks and cycle paths abound. Bakewell Golf Course, 1 mile, and horse riding, 0.5 miles. Shops and pubs/restaurants 0.5 miles.

Please be advise there is a residential dwelling being built 10 metres away from the property. The builders are there from 7.30-5.00 Mon to Friday. This building work has been going on for 12 months without complaint and it should be finished by May.

Peak Challenge
Great place to stay before and after our completion of the Peak District event. Enough facilities for three adults. Cooked one evening and ate out for one. Would highly recommend. Close enough to Bakewell stores and amenities.
