This accommodation occupies the noble floor of a century-old house, promoted by the Comabella family, a lineage of doctors who at the beginning of the 20th century wanted to build a mansion following the new fashions of Catalan and European architecture: the modernist and noucentista styles.
The building, full of small details in all the architectural and decorative elements, was declared a Cultural Asset of Local Interest, and has been restored during 2015, recovering the essence of this century-old house, and turning it into a pleasant and exclusive tourist accommodation for the enjoy the most refined tourists.
The house is located in the historic center of Balaguer, with a facade in three streets, the medieval Plaza Mercadal, characterized by its covered porticos, the Calle del Miracle, which has two Baroque churches, and was once the center of the neighborhood of the Jewish quarter and Carrer del Portalet, where the house sits on top of an urban section with a Gothic wall.
The house has three bedrooms, two double with large beds of 180x200mts, and a third larger one for groups, with four single beds of 90x200mts. All exterior and with their respective bathrooms.
The house is completed with a new fully equipped kitchen, a large living room with dining area, and other small rooms to access the Segre balcony.
