Disappointing Experience with booking Error and Poor Customer Services at Radisson BWI Airport
I booked a stay at Radisson Hotel at BWI airport from November 27 to 30 through Expedia up on arrival I was told my reservation was mistakenly set for December 27, and not November 27. The front desk informed me the booking system was malfunctioning and requested that I pay for a new booking for the correct dates, assuring me they would work with Expedia to cancel my original reservation and issue a refund.
I paid for November booking and December 27-30. the hotel promised that the December's booking would be refunded once the situation was resolved.
However, after multiple attempts to resolve the issue, I contacted Expedia a few days before check in. they claimed they were still waiting for a response from the hotel manager. When I reached out directly to the hotel, they told me that Expedia was the one not willing to cancel the original reservation and process the refund, despite their assurances.
Most recently, Expedia emailed me to regretfully inform me that they couldn’t refund the payment for the December 27 booking which was originally meant for November 27. This is after I was promised a refund.
I am incredibly frustrated by the lack of accountability and communication between Expedia and the Radisson Hotel. Both parties have continued to pass the blame to each other, leaving me frustrated with no clearer understanding.
