What a scary place! It’s the kind of hotel you might go to for something… immoral. I feel so sad for the KIDS and DOGS that seem to live there? I booked two nights in a “standard room” for work expecting a bed, bathroom, mini fridge, and microwave. A “standard room”, despite the photo, is literally a bed and bathroom……. Just enough for certain needs I suppose.
The really quiet guy in a casual t-shirt at the front desk [BEHIND A GLASS WINDOW] moved me to an “ungraded” room, without charge, but I still opted to check out after spending the whole evening out in my car, locking myself in my room after it got dark, and trying to sleep there for one night. I didn’t even bother trying to get a refund so please DO NOT spend your money, for me! There were cigarette burns everywhere, the fridge wasn’t even cool - let alone cold, the chairs were all ripped up, the bed might have been 20 years old, there was trash everywhere outside - including a shopping cart full of it, and the smell was absolutely nauseating. Didn’t even bother using the microwave because it was dirty. I don’t get out much but I guess I should have known, it is a Red Roof Inn after all. Lesson learned!
