Service was great and they were able to accommodate date us for early check in. The only down part was the outlet by the beds did not work. And the room was not lite well. Bathroom light chimes which the kids liked.

My wife and I stayed at the Sonesta for a local concert at the CFG arena. The location was perfect since it was only a short walk away. When we arrived, we were greeted by the vallet staff who were very nice and helped us right away. Once inside, Chris at the front desk was amazing!!!! We loved his energy. The check in process was seamless and one of the quickest check in’s I’ve experienced when traveling. Chris was very informative and provided wonderful customer service. The room was very clean and cozy, no issues or complaints. I believe the hotel is being renovated so the ice machines weren’t working on every floor which wasn’t a big deal at all. Also, breakfast is continental with things like coffee and donuts but there are lots of food options near by. The Sonesta is also a short walk to the Inner Harbor as well. When leaving, vallet was quick but it will help minimize your wait time by planning to order your car ahead. All in all, we had a great stay and appreciate the hotel being LGBTQ friendly. I would absolutely stay here again. 10/10

The room was filthy.The room had empty containers on the floor under the beds under the dressers and found two dirty cones one on top of the coffee pot and one on the bathroom sink.The shampoo and soap bottles where empty in the shower.Also there was hair on the shower walls and a empty cupcake rapper behind the toilet.

The entire hotel smelled of weed. Everywhere we went, the smell was present... not fun for us, especially traveling with young children. We were on the fifth floor and the hallway reeked of weed... thankfully, our room did not. Every valet person smelled of weed as well. It got old after a while. I had requested a refrigerator prior to checking in and received an email from the FOM that it would be in the room. It wasn't. We had to wait a while to get it, which caused us to be late getting out the door. I took a shower and no blow dryer for my hair. I called down to the front desk asking if rooms came with one, but ours didn't. My husband had to go downstairs and the front desk agent said none were available. He ended up getting one from a lady getting ready to check in who said she didn't need it. The breakfast was absolutely dismal with terrible offerings. I've never gone to a hotel and seen a huge tub of communal butter on the counter. Thank goodness for fruit. There wasn't coffee the last day we were there. I went to the ice machine to fill our bucket- it looked like it had never been cleaned.This is a very strange property that's trying to be upscale but has a lot of issues. The people working were generally nice, but it doesn't make up the fact that we smelled weed for two days straight staying there.The room was clean, the bed and pillows were comfy. We stayed at the Strawbridge Suites last year and we agreed it was a better property. We will not return to the Sonesta.
