Room ok, location good. The food was also OK. The restaurant was dirty and they played loud music. Tables more suited to bar or club so eating breakfast was not a nice experience.

The staff was friendly and helpful, they were quick to solve any issue I had. When i asked where to go or where good local food could be found they not only asked me what I wanted but offered several different options so I could pick. Everyday my room was properly cleaned and restocked, and my personal belongings were not disturbed. The cost for the stay was not expensive , and in line with the other hotels in the area. I have been to over 1000 different hotels in my life and this hotel rates in the top 5%, even better than some places that were rated at 5 plus stars. Thank you for a great stay. Whenever I am in the area, I will stay here. Thanks for the extra steps you took to ensure I had a great time and didn't have to worry about the hotel. Ron

Basic hotel with nothing special.

Basic 1-star hotel. Do not reccomend for foreigners. The location is weird and uncomfortable. Staff are unfriendly. Breakfast is pretty terrible. Rooms are outdated. TV doesnā€™t work n thatā€™s the norm. They do have a night-club and karaoke. But other hotels offers similar. There are about 2-3 other hotels around same place thatā€™s much better.

Tricky to get in if driving.

If youā€™re driving then entry and exit into the hotel is a nightmare. Depending on the direction youā€™re coming from, youā€™ll have to do an illegal and dangerous u-turn just so you can do a left into a one-way road full of ignorant motorists driving at you. Then if after dark youā€™re coming in from the station side, youā€™ll have a bunch of hookers touting for a bit of business lol. The 7th floor room I stayed in occasionally only had cold running water and the staff ran around like headless chickens looking for another room for me to have a shower in, I even had to go down to a room on the 3rd floor to take a shower. Rooms were ok but the staff cleaning them occasionally left some areas dirty. Overall staff were actually very nice and respectful at all times, could have been down to the fact I was always complaining about the cold water lol. Price for stay worked out very cheap via Hotels.com. May stay there again if again, the price is right.

Hotel is not well maintained.

Housekeeping did not change the bedsheet and pillowcase. The pillow and bedsheet are smelly and my body start to itch due to the bedsheet being dirty. The cups and saucer are also dirty. The towels are also dirty.

Great stay Bandung Hotel

Great stay here it was a awesome location close to everything nightlife and other. The hotel itself is well kept up nice ambience and friendly staff. The room was large, comfortable and well maintained. Price was reasonable compared to any of the other hotels in the area and superior to all in that price range.

El Cavana - Nice Hotel, Great Location & Value

Upscale hotel located in the best spot of Bandung. Rooms are large, well appointed, clean and modern. The hotel including a beautiful lobby, fitness center, pool, pool bar and rooftop restaurant/bar is really nice, beautiful and all with a friendly and helpful staff. The 42 inch flat screen TV is the largest I've seen in most hotels. The free breakfast buffet is good, has many choices and is located on the rooftop restaurant with great city views. This hotel is close to restaurants, shopping, nightclubs and walking distance to much of the cool stuff in town. You can grab the public transportation and pay 35 cents for a ride up to Paris Van Java Mall or grab an Uber for around a $1 to many other local spots. Great value!

worth the price

The hotel was great, near from public facilities (railway station, Paskal Hyper Square, and other restaurants), and I got a good rate from hotels.com. I really enjoyed my first night in Executive Room, the room was big and clean. But the next night I had to move to standard room, and I smelt cigarette smoke because it's not a non smoking room. Fortunately the staff helped me with this.

NO GO! Dirty and needs renovation

The dirtiest hotel we have seen so far on our Indonesia trips (we have been easily in over 25 hotels so far). Also the first time we requested to get new rooms ever. First room: Garbage on the floor, hairs in the bed, clear sign of sheets not changed, walls need repainting, tv screen dirty, used guest shoes, huge spider webs in corners, dusty windows, stsins in bath room snd towels etc. etc. Management either does not know better or does not care. It is one thing that some parts need renovation, but a a complete different thing if basic cleaning routines are not carried out. No recommendation if you expect a certain basic level of hygiene standard!
