The facility was dated. It is misleading about parking, as they only have about 40 underground spots for a lodge for I’d say 100 rooms. We had to park 4 blocks away and move vehicle by 8am or risk a ticket. The room itself was the “discount” room I was told, due to it being an online order. The shower ceiling was moldy on several spots. Received a small discount but the lodge was full and we couldn’t switch rooms. Not worth over $400 CAD.

Overall I was impressed with hotel. It was clean, staff were friendly, pool was nice and breakfast was good. It was nice to have underground parking. Hotel was not cheap but I guess that is to be expected in Banff.

Staff are courteous and friendly. The property may not look modern on the outside but the interior facilities are somewhat modern and clean. Breakfast options are pretty decent. They are very keen also of daily housekeeping of the rooms. Small lobby and dining hall but lots of seating area. Just 9 minutes walk from the main downtown area with lots of dining and shopping places which the location perfect because it’s away from the very busy Banff business area. I will recommend.
